STEAMED GREEN BEANS WITH MUSHROOMS AND ONIONS
INGREDIENTS
12 oz green beans, steamed ½ yellow onion, sliced 8 oz baby bella mushrooms, sliced 5 minced garlic cloves 1/3 cup white wine vinegar 2 tbsp olive oil Lemon zest from ½ of a lemon
Salt and pepper to taste INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a large skillet. Add onions and mushrooms. Cook on medium-high for 4 minutes. 2. Add garlic to the onion and mushroom mixture and sauté for 3 minutes. 3. While the mixture is cooking, steam your green beans for 5 minutes. 4. Add white wine vinegar to the mixture and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
5. Remove the skillet from the heat and add the green beans to the skillet. Mix to combine.
6. Add salt and pepper to taste. 7. Top with lemon zest. 8. Enjoy!
