PAKISTAN HUNTS MILITANTS BEHIND BLAST THAT KILLED 70

1

Pakistan has decided to launch a paramilitary crackdown on Islamist militants in Punjab, the country’s richest and most populous province, after an Easter Day bombing killed 70 people in the provincial capital Lahore, officials said on Monday. Sunday’s suicide bombing at a public park was claimed by the Pakistani Taliban’s Jamaat-ur-Ahrar faction, which once declared loyalty to Islamic State. The group said it was targeting Christians. The brutality of the attack, Jamaat-ur-Ahrar’s fifth bombing since December, reflects the movement’s attempts to raise its profile among Pakistan’s increasingly fractured Islamist militants. At least 29 children enjoying an Easter weekend outing were among those killed when the suicide bomber struck. REUTERS

LAWMAKERS, UNIONS REACH $15 MINIMUM WAGE DEAL IN CALIF.

2

California lawmakers and union leaders have reached a tentative deal to raise the state’s minimum wage to $15 over six years that could avert a campaign to bring the issue to voters, two California newspapers reported, citing unnamed sources. The deal, if passed in the state Legislature and signed into law by Gov. Jerry Brown, would add to a wave of minimum wage increases at the state level in the United States, where the federal minimum wage has remained at $7.25 an hour for more than six years. The agreement, as reported by the Los Angeles Times and the Sacramento Bee, would gradually raise the minimum wage in the most populous U.S. state from the current $10 to $15 in 2022. REUTERS

IRAN VOWS TO PURSUE MISSILE PROGRAM DESPITE NEW SANCTIONS

3

Iran will pursue its development of ballistic missiles despite the U.S. blacklisting of more Iranian companies linked to the program, a senior Revolutionary Guards commander said Monday. The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) test-fired several ballistic missiles this month, drawing condemnation from Western leaders who believe the tests violate a United Nations resolution. The U.S. Treasury Department blacklisted on Thursday two Iranian companies, cutting them off from international finance over their connection to the missile program. Washington had imposed similar sanctions on 11 businesses and individuals in January over a missile test carried out by the IRGC in October 2015. REUTERS

Commuters on the MBTA are used to complaining about service interruptions, trading horror stories and blasting the transit agency on social media. Now, the extended community of T-watchers has a new tool to keep an eye on the network of trains and buses: the MBTA Performance Dashboard, available at

MBTABackonTrack.com. The tool, which the T unveiled Monday, gives commuters a day-to-day look at the system’s reliability, ridership, customer satisfaction and finances. “Reliability” means how closely trips track with posted schedules, according to a blog post on the subject. On Sunday, for example, the commuter rail was 96 percent reliable, while buses and the subway were at 78 percent and 84 percent reliability, respectively. The site lets users drill down a bit deeper. On the subway, the Green Line fared worst on Sunday, with a score of 69 per-

Other data points available on the site: • • •

The T has spent $1.12 billion of its $2.02 billion budget so far this year, which is $60 million less than the amount budgeted year-to-date. T riders in most recent surveys rate the service at a bit more than three out of five stars on average. In January, commuters took 1.08 million trips on buses and subway trains. In January of last year, there were 1.05 million trips.

comes with a new MBTArun blog promising “indepth explorations of data-related topics.” A few users reported the website wasn’t working for them Monday morning, but the tool appeared to be functional again shortly after.

The former Roxbury home of civil rights activist Malcolm X is scheduled to be renovated, but before that happens archeologists will conduct a dig at the site for any hidden treasures related to his life. The two-week search at 72 Dale St. — led by Joseph Bagley, the city’s archaeologist, and UMass Boston’s Fiske Center for Archaeological Research — kicked off Monday with a radar survey of the property. Next up are excavations there through April 8. “This is an exciting opportunity for residents to unearth an important piece of Boston’s history,” Boston Mayor Marty Walsh said in a statement. “I thank Joe for leading this effort, and we look forward to the results.” Malcolm X was born in Omaha, Nebraska,

and moved to the Boston home as a teenager in the early 1940s, joining his older half-sister Ella Little Collins. Malcolm, born Malcolm Little, was fascinated by city life in Dudley Square and developed a taste for jazz while working in and exploring Boston, according to accounts of his life in newspapers and historical records. Run-ins with the law at age 20 led him to a six-year prison stay in Charlestown, Norfolk and Concord beginning in 1946, where he first came in contact with the Nation of Islam. He traveled frequently after that, taking on leadership roles in New York, Chicago and other cities — eventually gaining status as among the most prominent black leaders of the era. He was assassinated in New York in 1965. The house, built in 1874, was named a Boston landmark in 1998. The archeological survey comes in the lead-up to planned renovations to the property, which is now owned by Malcolm X’s nephew, Rodnell Collins. Collins’ plan is to con-

vert the home into housing for community-minded graduate students. The site will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the dig. Many are expected to pitch in, Bagley, the archaeologist, said in a statement. “This is truly a community archaeology dig,” Bagley said. “We have been working with the Collins family and the Roxbury community for months to plan and design this dig, and I’m excited Malcolm X’s family and the community will be digging their own history.” Before the Collins family moved in, the house was home to Irish families, according to the city’s Archaeology Program. “If we are lucky, we may even find evidence from the 17th and 18th century former farmland and maybe even Native American artifacts,” a post on the program’s Facebook page reads. Bagley also led a dig in a section of Boston Common last summer. Follow the action for this and other searches for Boston historical treasures on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

More than 100 employers have signed Boston equal pay pact More than 100 employers have now joined Boston’s pledge to make pay more equitable for men and women in the city. Mayor Marty Walsh announced the milestone on Monday, encouraging more local businesses to sign “100% Talent: The Boston Women’s Compact,” which city leaders have called a first-of-itskind effort to close the gender gap on wages by recruiting companies to the cause. Among those new to the initiative are the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, joining colleges, hospitals, retailers, utility companies and others already on the list. The compact, launched in 2013, asks businesses to do three things: understand what causes disparity in pay

for men and women, assess pay among their employees and correct inequities, and conduct regular reviews of how workers are paid. Participating businesses also share data with the city’s Women’s Workforce Council. Women in Boston earn 83 percent of what men do, according to research that

compared the salaries of female residents who worked full-time in 2011. The same report also found the disparity is greater for women of color. Black women earned 56 cents for every dollar white men earned in 2011, and for Hispanic and Latina women that figure is 44 cents for every dollar, the report found. SPENCER BUELL

Drug Companies Nervous as Doctors and Patients Demand the AloeCure® Big Pharma execs stand to lose billions as doctors and their patients abandon drugs like Nexium® and Prilosec®. Drug free remedy could put Big Pharma out of the digestion business. By David Waxman Seattle Washington: Drug company execs are nervous. That’s because the greatest health advance in decades has hit the streets. And analysts expect it to put a huge crimp in “Big Pharma” profits. So what’s all the fuss about? It’s about a new ingredient that’s changing the lives of people who use it. Some call it “the greatest discovery since penicillin”! And others call it “a miracle!” The name of the product is the AloeCure®. It’s not a drug. It’s something completely different. And the product is available to anyone who wants it, at a reasonable price. But demands may force future prices to rise.

The secret to AloeCure’s® “health adjusting” formula is scientifically tested Acemannan, a polysaccharide extracted from Aloe Vera. But not the same aloe vera that mom used to apply to your cuts, scrapes and burns. This is a perfect strain of aloe that is organically grown in special Asian soil; under very strict conditions. AloeCure® is so powerful it begins to benefit your health the instant you take it. It soothes intestinal discomfort and you can avoid the possibility of bone and health damage caused by overuse of digestion drugs. We all know how well aloe works externally on cuts, scrapes and burns. But did you know Acemannan has many of other health benefits?...

TOP DOC WARNS: DIGESTION DRUGS CAN CRIPPLE YOU!

Aloe has proved to have an astonishing effect on users who suffer with digestion problems like bouts of acid reflux, heartburn, cramping, gas and constipation because it acts as a natural acid buffer and soothes the digestive system. But new studies prove it does a whole lot more.

Company spokesperson, Dr. Liza Leal; a leading integrative health specialist out of Texas recommends AloeCure® before she decides to prescribe any digestion drug. Especially after the FDA’s stern warning about long-term use of drugs classified as proton pump inhibitors like Prilosec®, Nexium®, and Prevacid®. In a nutshell, the FDA statement warned people should avoid taking these digestion drugs for longer than three 14-day treatment periods because there is an increased risk of bone fractures. Many people take them daily and for decades.

7 Boston Tuesday, March 29, 2016

Aloecure® Users Are Thrilled With The Results. Dr. Leal should know. Many patients come to her with bone and joint complaints and she does everything she can to help them. One way for digestion sufferers to help avoid possible risk of tragic joint and bone problems caused by overuse of digestion drugs is to take the AloeCure®.

RAPID ACID AND HEARTBURN FIX

HELPS CALM DOWN PAINFUL INFLAMMATION According to a leading aloe research scientist, the amazing Aloe plant has a powerful antiinflammatory effect. Aloe Vera calms the fire in your belly like it does the sunburn on your skin and in many ways helps heal damaged cells. Inflammation is your body’s first reaction to damage. So whether it’s damage that is physical, bacterial, chemical or auto-immune; the natural plant helps soothe inflammation — rapidly reducing redness, heat and swelling.

SIDE-STEP HEART CONCERNS So you’ve been taking proton pump inhibitors (PPI’s) for years and you feel just fine. In June of 2015 a major study shows that chronic PPI use increases the risk of heart attack in general population.

Debilitating brain disorders are on the rise. Cutting edge research shows that the health of your brain is closely linked by the state of healthy bacteria that comes from your gut. The things happening in your belly today might be deciding your risk for any number of brain conditions- Studies have been ongoing since the 1990’s. New studies suggest that taking PPI’s at both low and high dosage disrupts a healthy human gut.

DOCTOR’S EVERYWHERE ARE EXCITED ABOUT THE ALOECURE®: "My first experience recommending AloeCure® was of a 46 year patient who developed a stomach ulcer due to stress. I suggested that he take AloeCure and the worst was over within 3 days. To my colleagues, if you’re not using AloeCure, you really need to. To all patients there is powerful help available, find a practitioner who knows of AloeCure.

Dr. Rick Marschall, Port Angeles, WA*

SLEEP LIKE A BABY A night without sleep really damages your body. And continued lost sleep can lead to all sorts of health problems. But what you may not realize is the reason why you’re not sleeping. I sometimes call it “Ghost Reflux”. A low-intensity form of acid discomfort that quietly keeps you awake in the background. AloeCure® helps digestion so you may find yourself sleeping through the night.

break down and absorb calcium. Aloe delivers calcium as it aids in balancing your stomach acidity. The result? Thicker, healthier looking hair… more youthful looking skin… And nails

Doctors call it “The greatest health discovery in decades!” OPTIMIZE YOUR LIVER News outlets are reporting cases of Liver Failure are linked to PPI’s. Your liver cleans out your blood and neutralizes its toxins. Without it, your body would be overrun with deadly toxins. Aloe helps your liver function properly. Studies suggest, if you started taking aloe today; you’d see a big difference in the way you feel.

Clinton will criticize Republican senators for refusing to consider President Obama’s nominee, Merrick Garland, and voice concern about any nominee from Trump, her campaign said. Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton planned to assail the prospect of a Donald Trump-appointed Supreme Court justice on Monday, her campaign said, as she seeks to regain momentum from party rival Bernie Sanders, the winner of three weekend nominating contests. A Trump nominee to fill the position vacated with the Feb. 13 death of Justice Antonin Scalia would seek to curb Americans’ rights and

empower corporations, Clinton intended to say in the speech urging Republicans to do their jobs and consider Garland. Senate Republicans, including Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, have refused to meet with Garland, a moderate federal appeals judge. Clinton’s campaign said she would urge Grassley to give Garland a hearing. Clinton planned to speak in Wisconsin, which holds a primary nominating contest on April 5. Sanders’ wins in Alaska, Hawaii and Washington chipped away at Clinton’s overwhelming lead in the race for the 2,382 delegates needed to take the Democratic nomination at the party’s Philadelphia convention in July. Trump also plans to campaign in Wisconsin this week as he seeks to build his lead over Re-

publican rivals, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and Ohio Gov. John Kasich. Trump has won 738 of the 1,237 delegates needed to take the Republican nomination at its July convention in Cleveland. Cruz has won 463, while

Kasich, who has vowed to stay in the race until the convention, has won 143, The New York Times said. In the latest sign of unpredictability in the Republican race, Trump vowed to sue at least one state over its delegate allocation ahead of the convention. “Just to show you how unfair Republican primary politics can be, I won the State of Louisiana and get less delegates than Cruz-Lawsuit coming,” Trump wrote on Twitter. Last week, the Wall Street Journal detailed the delegate fight in the state, which gave Trump and Cruz 18 each after its March 5 contest but has 10 others up for grabs. Trump gave no other details and his campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks had no comment. Cruz spokesman Ron Nehring blasted Trump in a tweet and urged him to read up on party rules. REUTERS

Shots fired in US Capitol complex, gunman caught A police officer may have been injured by shrapnel on Monday in the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center when a man fired a gun, media reports and congressional sources said. There was confusion in early accounts about what occurred but police said a suspect was taken into custody with wounds after shots were fired. MSNBC reported that an officer who fired at an armed suspect may have been injured by shrapnel. Police said the suspect was taken to a hospital. The officer did not identify or describe the suspect and he added that there were no additional

suspects. A government official told Reuters that initial reports were that a suspect walked into the Visitors Center, pointed a gun at one of the police officers

on duty and a shootout erupted. The official said no evidence had materialized of a connection to terrorism. Separately, CNN

reported that a person tried to gain entry into the White House but was caught. Congress is in recess, with few lawmakers in Washington but the shooting happened just a few hours after a drill for an active shooter took place at the Capitol, creating further confusion. The Secret Service temporarily cleared tourists from an area surrounding the White House after the incident, but activities quickly went back to normal. Capitol Hill was placed in lockdown immediately after the shooting but was later lifted. REUTERS

Chris Hemsworth is like, ‘See ya, Hollywood’ Sorry, Hollywood. You’ve got one less Hemsworth brother to stalk around the aisles of Whole Foods. Marvel’s resident Thor, Chris Hemsworth, has packed up his brood and taken them back to Australia, where he’ll be chilling when he’s not in town to make the movie magic. “I love what I do as an actor, but when you are surrounded by it constantly, it becomes a bit suffo-

cating,” he tells Modern Luxury magazine, because why wouldn’t he be talking to Modern Luxury magazine? “It’s no longer all about me, which is quite refreshing. Once the kids arrived, I was like, ‘Wow, this is what life is about.’ We were living shoulder to shoulder in the suburbs and thought that’s not how we want our kids to grow up,” he explains of his decision to move with his wife and three children. “Moving to a kind of farm setup back here on the coast in Australia has been the best thing.” That sounds sweet and all, until Hemsworth explains that when he’s not working he’ll just be at home, waiting “for my kids to come give me a hug and tell me they love me.” Yikes. Someone’s sounding a little desperate.

Apparently you actually can embarrass Miley Cyrus You might think that Miley Cyrus has no shame, but you’d be wrong. The singer was spotted courtside at a Knicks game, and she did not necessarily look at ease with all the Jumbotron attention she was getting. Sure, she offered up a trademarked double peace sign with tongue out, but her heart clearly wasn’t in it. Just to prove how mortified she was, Cyrus posted her own Instagram shot of the big screen showing

her giving a much less outlandish expression, along with the caption, “Embarrassed of all embarrassed.”

A Posh-less Spice Girls are ready to hit the road Want some news that will simultaneously excite you and make you feel really, really old? The Spice Girls are reportedly set to announce a great big 20th anniversary tour, at least according to Us Weekly. “The girls have long been keen to do a major reunion tour together,” a source says. Of course, when that source says “the girls,” there’s one Girl not on the list — yet. Apparently Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham has been more than a lit-

tle reluctant, which may be due in part to that Beckham family $770 million net worth thing, but whatever. “If she doesn’t agree, they are moving ahead without her,” the source says. But know at least that the fashion guru and mother of four is trying to play nice. “She won’t sing or dance,” another source says, but “there’s a small chance she’ll film something with them or make an appearance at a show here and there.” How generous.

This is a true story about a shy introverted 21 year old student who was handed a one week old court case immediately after arriving on the Florida State University campus. What he did with this court decision was remarkable. He organized the Only Same-Sex Dance on a University Campus in U.S. History.

Jesse Eisenberg can’t do a stock villain The actor offers a very different Lex Luthor in “Batman v Superman. NED EHRBAR @Nedrick

ned.ehrbar@metro.us

Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor in “Batman v Superman is likely unlike any other take on the supervillain audiences have seen before — and that’s all completely intentional. In fact, you might not have imagined hearing Superman’s most notable villain described as a pacifist before, but that’s just a part of the acclaimed actor’s new take on things. In the latest superhero movie, Eisenberg’s Luthor is now a young, peppy sociopath, prone to hammy line readings and hand-clapping.

Since comic book movies have become such a main corner of the ďŹ lm industry, do you think people have

Passion project You’re also an accomplished playwright. How has it been juggling the multiple roles in the entertainment world? If you’re a movie actor, seemingly every other door is willing to open. Actors in movies wield an inordinate amount of power — actors on movies change dialogue and there’s a kind of vanity aspect to it. So I feel very fortunate to have been given this kind of platform, and it certainly helps get my foot in other doors. And once I’m in those doors, I feel like I need to compete on my own terms.

been taking them more seriously? I think you have to. I think you have no choice if you’re going to make one and you don’t want to be completely derivative. You have to bring in somebody, for example, like they did here with [“Argo writer] Chris Terrio, whose background is not comic books, whose background is not in genre culture, who’s interested

in politics, who’s interested in theater. Along those lines, how do you turn Lex Luthor into a believable, realistic, human character? I think it would be impossible for me to play the stock villain character because I don’t have any of those attributes. I’m not a severe-looking, brooding man. I am just somebody who — not intentionally, but probably — exudes an amount of emotion, irrespective of my personal intent as an actor. And so I think I instinctively

Mustache-twirling? Yes, exactly. And I think if he has any kind of campiness, it comes from his own need to hide his true feelings, which are, as the movie progresses, increasingly dark. There’s a very performative aspect to him early on. He’s really putting on a show. I think he puts on a face

of an affable, philanthropic businessman. My sense as a cynical, paranoid person is that most people who have a charming exterior are probably scary. I would sooner trust the shy guy than the guy who seems like he’s your best friend within the first five minutes of meeting you, and that’s what this character is. He immediately tries to charm people, and if it doesn’t work he immediately turns on them. He’s the kid who gets his toy taken away prematurely and turns petulant.

J-Law’s trainer’s number one tip will surprise you Spoiler: You don’t have to give up your favorite foods. EMILY LAURENCE @EmLaurence

emily.laurence@metro.us

Unlike some celebrities who seem to eat hardly anything (we’re looking at you, Tom and Gisele), Jennifer Lawrence loves booze and food. So how does her body look so amazing? Well, she has a little help. Lawrence — as well as Kit Harington, Amanda Seyfried and Zoe Kravitz — turn to personal trainer Dalton Wong to look good while still enjoying life. Now, Wong is spilling the secrets in his new book, “The Feelgood Plan.” We ask Wong directly for his tips:

Know how to manage stress

isn’t how many times a week they have to work out or what foods they can’t eat. It’s learning how to relax. “For Kit, Jennifer, Amanda, it’s important to teach them how to cope with stress so they can be resilient for their job,” Wong says. “It’s not sexy, but it’s one of the most important and powerful parts in order to be a healthy person. You can’t just exercise more and eat less to have a sustainable lifestyle.” His book has tips on unwinding at the end of the day and getting a good night’s sleep to help the body and mind repair itself from the stresses of everyday life. It’s an important, yet unexpected tip.

Eat what you crave, just balance it out Instead of mandating a diet, “The Feelgood Plan” teaches readers

“If you want to go out with your friends and have some cake or you want to have a glass of wine with your partner at the end of the day, do it. Just balance it out by eating healthier throughout the day,” Wong says. His book is also full of ideas for tweaking everything from burgers to cheesecake to barbecue, making it healthier so you can really feel good during — and after — you dig in.

Indulge when you’re happy, not sad Wong makes a pointed observation: If you go out with your friends and you all decide to have some chocolate cake and a couple drinks, that’s going to make you feel happy. But if you drink and eat cake because you are alone and upset, it won’t. If you’re going to indulge, make it worth it.

Have a workout you can do anytime, anyplace Being a personal trainer to Hollywood’s biggest actors, Wong says he often finds himself doing workouts in a lot of weird places. The

moves in his book don’t require any equipment and the routines only take 15 minutes. “I came up with it so there would be no excuses,” he says. “If you don’t have 15 minutes, then you’re not really motivated to begin with.”

The Celtics are surely going to make the playoffs. The Bruins are in right now, but need to win more than they lose in their final six regular-season games to make the NHL dance. Neither team has much of a chance of winning it all this spring, but what transpires between now and the end of their respective seasons is wholly important in regards to both of their long-term futures. The Stanley Cup playoffs begin on Wednesday, April 13 and the NBA playoffs crank up three days later. Here’s a look at the pie-in-the-sky ceilings and the worst case scenarios for both squads. Â

Celtics The C’s had won four straight games heading into last night’s late tilt in LA against the Clippers, but they remained in fourth place

in the East – a half game behind the Hawks for the No. 3 seed. The C’s definitely want to get to No. 3 as they’d avoid top seed Cleveland in the second round (assuming that they’d take care of business in the first round). Getting by Toronto (the likely No. 2 seed) in the semifinals would be a tough task for sure. But the Raptors are new to this playoff thing just like the young Celtics. Toronto lost in the first round in each of the past two seasons and was swept out of the postseason by the Wizards just last year. The Celtics beat a Kyle Lowry-less Raptors squad last week in Boston, but it remains to be seen if they can win North of the border. Toronto has been excellent at the Air Canada Centre with a record of 28-8. The Celtics are 18-18 on the road this season. Ceiling: Eastern Conference ďŹ nals loss to Cavaliers in 7 Basement: 8 seed in East, swept by Cavs in Round 1 Â

Bruins The B’s would be wise to avoid the final wild card spot in the East. That would equal a first-

round matchup with the scary Capitals, who have looked like worldbeaters all season long. But none of the other likely playoff teams in the East are unstoppable and the Bruins have had moderate success against most of them. They beat Tampa Bay earlier this month. They beat Florida earlier this month. And they pounded Pittsburgh in late February. The Rangers are the only team other than the Caps that pose a great threat to the B’s as Boston dropped the season series to the Blueshirts, 1-2, and their only win against them came way back in late November. So, the relatively weak East field gives Bruins’ fans the idea that they could make a run this spring if everything were to line up perfectly. Plus, the Stanley Cup playoffs are the most random pro sports tournament of all. Maybe, just maybe, Brad Marchand, Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci start putting the puck in the net on a consistent basis in the next few weeks. Ceiling: Eastern Conference ďŹ nals loss to Capitals in 7 Basement: Miss the postseason altogether

Aries Revamp what you have to offer to fit current trends. Use your skills to supplement your income. Discussing how you feel with someone you love will result in positive changes.

Libra Expand your knowledge and interests. If you apply what you learn, you will secure your earning potential. A trip, lecture or research expedition will prove inspirational.

Taurus Don’t make unrealistic promises or underestimate your worth. It’s more important to invest in yourself than to help someone else get ahead. Romance is in the stars.

Scorpio Your intuition will help you make a good decision. A playful but responsible attitude will help you get through any workrelated matters that need addressing.

Gemini Anger could prevent you from making a smart move. A constructive approach to dealing with your responsibilities will help you avoid complaints.

Sagittarius Keep a low profile. Problems while traveling or when dealing with institutions can be expected. Be precise to avoid a misunderstanding.

Cancer Get down to business and focus on what’s expected of you. A change of philosophy will result from an encounter or experience. Do what works best for you.

Capricorn The actions you undertake for others will be valued. An unusual offering will take you by surprise. Before you accept, find out if there are any stipulations.

Leo Stick to your budget in order to avoid being taken advantage of financially. Step into the spotlight and promote what you have to offer.

Aquarius Formulate your strategy and turn your plan into a reality. Play by the rules and be ready to deal with anyone who tries to dismantle your game plan. Finish what you start.

Virgo You will be blamed or criticized for your recklessness if you take chances. Get the approval of anyone your actions will affect before you proceed.

Pisces Keep an open mind and a pure heart. Listen to concerns, and comfort and nurture anyone on your team who is lacking strength. You are only as strong as your weakest link.

GOING OUT OF OUR WAY is always our way.

Can a bank still surprise you? We think so. We could tell you about the time our bankers visited a hospital to notarize a form, or mailed a debit card to a customer in Spain. About the handwritten notes, opening after hours – all the small things that add up to something bigger. We could tell you lots of stories – but instead, stop on by and let’s create new ones together. Let us show you what great service feels like. We’re available 24/7 at 888.493.2783, or visit WebsterBank.com.
