MCCAIN: IMMIGRATION ORDER CONFUSING

REACTION AGAINST IMMIGRATION ORDER

ORDER MAY HELP RECRUIT TERRORISTS

Sen. John McCain said that President Donald Trump’s order targeting immigration from seven predominantly Muslim countries has been “confusing” and raised a number of questions. “It’s been a very confusing process,” McCain, a Republican and chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told CBS’ “Face the Nation.” McCain said the effect of Trump’s immigration order

“will probably, in some areas, give ISIS some more propaganda,” and asked why the countries targeted by the order included Iraq, where U.S. forces are fighting alongside Iraqi forces against Islamic State. McCain said he was “worried” about the addition of Steve Bannon to the U.S. National Security Council. REUTERS

A global reaction against President Donald Trump’s immigration curbs gathered strength as several countries including long-standing American allies criticized the measures as discriminatory and divisive. Governments from London and Berlin to Jakarta and Tehran spoke out against Trump’s order to put a fourmonth hold on allowing refugees into the United States and

temporarily ban travelers from Syria and six other Muslimmajority countries. In Germany — which has taken in large numbers of people fleeing the Syrian civil war — Chancellor Angela Merkel said the global fight against terrorism was no excuse for the measures and “does not justify putting people of a specific background or faith under general suspicion,” her spokesman said. REUTERS

Republican Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham said that President Donald Trump’s order halting arrivals of refugees and others from seven Muslim-majority countries may do more to help recruit terrorists than improve U.S. security. “Ultimately, we fear this executive order will become a self-inflicted wound in the fight against terrorism,” they said in a statement, adding

Democratic attorneys general across the United States condemned President Trump’s order to restrict people from seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the country and are discussing whether to challenge the administration in court. A lawsuit brought by states would heighten the legal stakes surrounding the executive order, since courtroom challenges have so far mostly been filed by individuals. The

attorneys general from 15 states and the District of Columbia said in a joint statement they would work together to fight to ensure the federal government respected the Constitution. The officials that signed the statement represent California, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington, Massachusetts, Hawaii, Virginia, Vermont, Oregon, Connecticut, New Mexico, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Illinois and the District of Columbia. that the United States should not stop green card holders “from returning to the country they call home.” “This executive order sends a signal, intended or not, that America does not want Muslims coming into our country. That is why we fear this executive order may do more to help terrorist recruitment than improve our security,” said McCain, of Arizona, and Graham, of South Carolina. REUTERS

Boston judges temporarily block Trump’s immigration ban Seven-day stay granted. ERIN TIERNAN @ErinTiernan

letters@metro.us

Federal judges in Boston have issued a temporary stay against President Donald Trump’s order blocking refugees and nationals from seven majority Muslim countries from entering the United States. The decision, issued at 2 a.m. Sunday, imposes a seven-day restraining order on the ban on entry for legal permanent residents of Massachusetts from Iran, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, Sudan, Libya and Syria as described in Trump’s Jan. 28 executive order. â€œThis is a huge victory for justice,â€? said Matthew Segal, legal director of the ACLU of Massachusetts. “We told President Trump

A federal ruling blocks an immigration ban described in President Donald Trump’s Jan. 28 executive order. ACLU

we would see him in court if he ordered this unconstitutional ban on Muslims. He tried, and federal courts in Boston and throughout the nation stopped it in its tracks.â€? The ruling prohibits customs and border agents from detaining or deporting green card

holders, approved refugees and others named in Trump’s order from being detained or forcing them through additional screening processes based solely on Trump’s order. Federal District Court Judge Allison D. Burroughs and Magistrate Judge Judith G. Dein is-

sued their ruling on a suit filed on behalf of two lawful permanent residents detained at Logan Airport. Mazdak Pourabdollah Tootkaboni and Arghavan Louhghalam — both Muslim, Iranian nationals teaching at the University of Massachusetts â€” were detained at Logan Airport Saturday upon re-entry to the U.S. after attending an education conference abroad. The professors were released, but lawyers sought the federal court ruling to prevent others being affected by the executive order. The judges agreed. “Absent a stay of removal, petitioners and others similarly situated, including lawful permanent residents, citizens, visa-holders, approved refugees, and other individuals from nations who are subject to the Jan. 27 executive order, are likely to suffer irreparable harm,â€? the judges’ ruling stated.

Lyft donates $1M to ACLU, condemns Trump’s immigration ban Lyft is giving a big boost to civil rights. On Sunday, the ride-sharing company announced that it will donate $1 million to the American Civil Liberties Union over the next four years. The donation was made on behalf of diversity in the face of new executive orders banning foreign nationals from seven countries — Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Libya, Somalia and Sudan— from entering the U.S. for at least three months. “Banning people of a particular faith or creed, race or identity, sexuality or ethnicity, from entering the U.S. is antithetical to both Lyft’s and our nation’s core values. We stand ďŹ rmly against these actions, and will not be silent on issues that threaten the values of our community,â€? wrote Lyft

founders John Zimmer and Logan Green in a letter. “We stand with you, and are donating $1,000,000 over the next four years to the ACLU to defend our constitution, the letter said. Lyft’s philanthropy comes at a moment of controversy involving its rival ride-sharing service Uber. On Saturday, members of the New York Taxi Workers Alliance — who are usually lined up and ready for passengers outside arrival gates — called for a strike at JFK International Airport and joined the protesters. “By sanctioning bigotry with his unconstitutional and inhumane executive order banning Muslim refugees from seven countries, the president is putting professional drivers in more danger than they have been in any time since 9/11 when hate crimes against immigrants skyrocketed, at statement from NYTW said. It’s not a Muslim ban. It’s just a ban on Muslims. Got it? Now go explain that to the lady in New York Harbor who needs to dim her lamp now and edit the Emma Lazarus poem at her feet. “Beat it, you huddled masses yearning to breathe free! Thousands of antiTrump demonstrators made that point quite eloquently yesterday. If you doubt that America’s new unwelcome mat is all about religion, consider the Muslim percentage of the seven countries singled out by Donald Trump: Iraq (95 percent), Iran (99.4 percent), Libya (97 percent),

Somalia (99.8 percent), Sudan (97 percent), Syria (93 percent) and Yemen (almost 100 percent). Now compare that to the percent of terrorists in America who came from the same seven Middle Eastern and African lands: Zero. And Saudi Arabia, the 9/11 mother lode of anti-American terror, isn’t even on the new president’s stay-out list.

Yes, Trump’s “extreme vetting was hardly vetted at all. Apparently, Rudy Giuliani is the brains behind the de facto ban, along with senior White House strategist Steve Bannon. The former New York City mayor said Trump “called me up and requested: “Show me the right way to do it, legally. Rudy may have mis-

calculated this time. After flash mobs of outraged protesters stormed JFK, Dulles and other American airports and U.S. allies went bonkers around the world, a federal judge in Brooklyn pulled an emergency brake on the whole fiasco. None of the airport detainees should be sent back to their dangerous homelands, District Court Judge Anne Donnelly ruled. What does America stand for: freedom or fear? The surprising part was how ineptly the whole thing was done. No one outside a narrow White House circle was consulted beforehand. Not Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly. Not CIA Director Mike Pompeo. Not the legal staff at the Justice Department. For more on the immigration issue, visit metro.us.

ENTERTAINMENT / DATING

Tired of dating? Try these tips being proactive — sending and swiping — and times of inaction, when you’ve deleted or hidden your profile. But the way to a relationship is through consistency in the actions you take to meet people. To create consistency, you’ve got to avoid burn out. Here are three ways to avoid it once and for all:

LAURIE DAVIS EDWARDS Single and Swiping Laurie Davis Edwards is the founder of eFlirt, an online dating concierge service, and the best-selling author of “Love @ First Click: The Ultimate Guide to Online Dating.”

1

Stop investing all your emotion early on.

If you’re single and swiping, it’s likely that you’ve felt dating fatigue before. It’s that moment when you just can’t look at another profile or go on another bad date. So you log off. You’re burnt out. Most online daters cycle through times of

3

There are four stages of action in dating: searching/swiping, messaging, dating and relationship development. The most time is usually spent in the first two stages: searching and messaging. When we spend a lot of time on something, we invest the most emotion there. So it’s easy to get caught up in someone’s witty text banter before meeting. In dating, emotion is currency. If you invest high in the first two stages, your heart’s bank account will be drained

before you meet. Keep messages short and create searching routines to limit your time — and save on emotion.

2

Pace yourself.

When you’re coming off of a dating hiatus, there’s a lot of enthusiasm. You’re excited for

new potential in your life, which often means you move fast by sending many messages and planning lots of dates. But expectations are also higher in the beginning. High activity can feel discouraging if first dates don’t turn into second or third ones. When you pace yourself and stop rushing, you’ll avoid feeling burnt out after you’ve

only barely begun.

3

Make decisions now.

It’s so often we end up overthinking in dating. You wonder, “Is he going to text me?” Or, “Will she really say yes if I ask her out again?” There’s a lot of thinking before decisions are made. Too

much thinking. And that exhausts your emotions, too. Stop the cycle of overthinking by focusing on your feelings instead. Rather than, “Will she really say yes?” ask yourself, “Do I want to ask her out?” If the answer is yes, commit and do it. No more spinning your wheels getting burnt out on hypotheticals. Your emotions will thank you.

Jamali Maddix hangs out with Neo-Nazis Trump just took oďŹƒce. What are your thoughts on that whole situation? To say that there’s no rise in conservatism and right-wing views would be a lie. Same with where I come from. You’ve got Brexit and stu like that. Just going to see how it plays out. I’m not envious, but I didn’t vote. I don’t have the right to vote here. My views are obsolete, really. I don’t think I would have voted Trump.

With racism and misogyny continuing to seep into our political culture, Viceland’s “Hate Thy Neighbor couldn’t come at a better time. In the show, English comedian Jamali Maddix tours the U.S. and gets to know the people on the inside of hate groups, like the National Socialist Movement and Israelite School of Uni-

versal Practical Knowledge. Maddix chats with us about what racism looks like in the U.K. and the common thread running through many hate groups.

about slavery. In England, we still haven’t really had that discussion yet. While we may have more covert racism, both countries still have racism.

As an Englishman, you have a unique perspective on race relations in the United States. How are things dierent here versus the U.K.? It’s such a complicated question because it’s obviously different. In England, you can’t be a Holocaust denier or say Holocaust-denial things in public, for example. Racism exists in both places, but it’s a different culture. You had the civil-rights movement and open discussions

You come from a biracial heritage, and in the episodes I’ve seen so far, you hung out with one hate group that was opposed to nonwhites (NSM) and another that was opposed to nonblacks (ISUPK). Did you ever fear for your safety? There were some times where I went back to the hotel and I thought about what I did that day and I’m like, “Oh, that was a sticky situation. When you’re

filming, you’re so engrossed in your work that you don’t think about it that much. It’s probably stupid of me, but you’re just working and you go, “Oh, that put me in quite a heavy situation.â€? What was the most shocking revelation for you in the course of ďŹ lming this show? I saw a lot of hypocrisy and

stuff like that. I kind of want to leave it to the viewer to be surprised by twists and turns. For me, seeing how great of a father Dan is to his kids and how

friendly and welcoming he is to you — and yet, he’s a neo-Nazi — I found that really shocking. So was I. It’s strange. It’s hard to understand sometimes. He has these great traits about him, but he has these weird views. You’ve got to remember that we’re dealing with people, and people have likable traits. It’s a very complicated situation. A common thread I noticed between the dierent hate groups is that rather than accept responsibility for their problems, they put the blame on an outside party — whether it be the NSM against nonwhites or ISUPK against nonblacks. There is a sense of coping. Why I made the show is to try to understand it and why they use this thing to cope. I don’t know if I cracked it. I think it does have to do with a sense of community, too. The next episode of “Hate Thy Neighborâ€? airs tonight on Viceland at 10 p.m.

The power of positive speaking Learning the satisfaction and comfort of words that can finally express what we’re already feeling. RACHEL RACZKA @rachelraczka

rachel.raczka@metro.us

Coming off the 2016 election season, we’re reminded once again: Despite the childhood rhymes, words really can hurt you. But, unsurprisingly, they also have the power to heal, expand the mind and arouse joy. Tim Lomas, a lecturer of applied positive psychology at the University of East London, began the Positive Lexicography Project, a reference guide to untranslatable words from around the world. Each word relates to well-being, and for the most part, represents and describes feelings, emotions and expressions that have been condensed by a people or culture into a single, unique word. Lomas embarked on the project after the 2015 International Positive Psychology Association, where he was introduced to the word sisu, a Finnish term meaning “extraordinary courage and determination. The concept resonated with Lomas, who dived into researching additional words exclusive to languages, and then sorted

terms by themes. Lomas crowdsourced much of his analysis, leaving definitions open for rewrites by native speakers. The result is the Positive Lexicography Project, an evolving resource of roughly 800 untranslatable words; ranging from Sweden’s gĂśkotta, meaning “waking up early to hear the

first birds sing, to suaimhneas croi, a Gaelic term that means the “contentment on finishing a task. The list, hosted on Lomas’ website, grows as his efforts gain momentum, with readers suggesting additions and redefinitions on the regular while he continues to research the project himself. an academic book based on his findings. Lomas hopes readers can find satisfaction in the ability to articulate things you’re already feeling. Or instigate new pleasurable moments. For example, take “hygge — the Danish term loosely defined as “coziness that’s sweeping the nation. He adds, “These words can lead us to new experiences — identify phenomena we haven’t experienced and look for that and develop them into our life.

about racial equality, so the timing was painfully appropriate. But as I said to my students, what’s important is not how you voted. It’s how we treat each other going forward. That will be the true test of the Trump administration — whether his policies treat all Americans with equal respect or whether they continue to stir up and enable racism and sexism.

discussed with students getting ready to enter this new era of uncertainty.

tion happens. This is what studying queer culture gives us: the realization that a small group of people can lead to lasting change. Queer communities have always figured out creative and brilliant ways to thrive in the face of insurmountable odds. I hope this gave my students a sense of hope and possibility even in the midst of what seems to be a devastating setback.

Never before did the concept of “intersectionality — which is the basis of both of these classes — seem so necessary. I co-taught the latter class with my colleague Lisa Duggan, and we stressed to students that we can’t understand the Trump phenomenon, and his particular brand of toxic masculinity, without an intersectional analysis of class, white supremacy and misogyny. We also stressed the need to place Trump within a broader transnational frame of right-wing populist movements that are resurgent in Europe, the Philippines, India and elsewhere. I wanted to give students the tools to develop not only a cogent analysis of this historical moment and what brought us here, but also a sense of how radical social change and transforma-

We didn’t talk about the election per se, because some of my students voted one way and others voted another. Rather, we were focused on the hate emails that Penn’s African-American freshmen had been sent ... a few days after the election, and the racist, hateful actions that had been taken by neo-Nazis in Trump’s name. All of us condemned these actions, regardless of who people voted for. On the syllabus that day, it so happened, was Martin Luther King’s “Letter From Birmingham City Jail as well as his “I Have a Dream speech. Those readings were already meant to open up discussion

Boston University Course: “The Presidency and the Media Professor: Christopher B. Daly A year ago, when we were planning the course, I came up with an idea for the students’ final papers: Draft an inaugural address for the winner. Of course, in early 2016, we had no idea that the winner would turn out to be Donald Trump. When he won, many students were visibly upset. Some asked to be excused from the assignment. But our view was that one of the goals of a liberal education is the opportunity to understand a point of view very different from your own. So, we made everyone complete the task. They were great. In fact, there were several that were far superior to the actual inaugural we heard recently from Trump himself.

Meet the reporter who moonlights as a romance novelist Writer Tamara Lush on how to do both. KATE MOONEY @yatinbrooklyn

kate.mooney@metro.us

Tamara Lush writes — a lot. For her day job, she’s an award-winning correspondent with the Associated Press. At night, she works on her fiction, which includes eight erotic-romance novels to date (“chick lit with sex, as she describes it). Her latest, “Tell Me a Fantasy, came out Jan. 17, while three days prior, she broke the news on the closing of the Ringling Bros. Circus. The 46-year-old Florida resident is riding the rails as part of the 2017 Amtrak Residency Program, which grants selected writers time to work on projects aboard the train. For Lush, that means another balancing act: during her two-week residency, she’s compiling miniprofiles of fellow riders in an AP series

called “Tales From a Train, while editing a draft of a new novel. She calls in from a stopover in Denver to talk about her dual careers and how writing fiction has made her a better reporter. Tell us about your double life as a reporter and romance novelist. I’ve been a reporter for 25 years. I’ve always loved romance novels. I stopped reading a lot of fiction and read a lot of narrative nonfiction in journalism. Then once I got to the AP nine years ago, I started covering a lot of really awful things. I covered the Haiti earthquake, I’ve covered a lot of mass shootings. At some point it just snapped in me that I wanted to write something with a happy ending. How do you have the energy to do both? I was worried that I wouldn’t have the energy for it. But then this weird thing hap-

pened where writing fiction energized my journalism. It’s actually kept me from getting in a midcareer rut. Sometimes, I think, in journalism we can slip into this whole, “What are the facts? Let’s just churn out the facts. Writing fiction has given me this chance to look at things differently. If I’m covering something in a courtroom, [I think] how would I describe this if I were writing a book? It’s helped me find my writing voice, too. Any advice for journalists who want to pursue creative writing? I think that reporters are in this very unique position to be able to write creatively because they have the discipline. I don’t ever feel writer’s block because as a reporter you know you can’t afford that. You have to write something; your editor wants it. I just do it. I have a story in my mind and I’m pretty organized about it.

The Patriots surprised many with their decisions — transactionally — on defense this season, and both Logan Ryan and Duron Harmon will surely be on the team’s radar this offseason. GETTY IMAGES

Patriots’ Ryan, Harmon will be key in Super Bowl and upcoming offseason The two Rutgers alumni will likely be free agent targets once the season ends. JAMES TOSCANO @Jimmy_Toscano sports@metro.us

It’s no secret that the Patriots have a good amount of key players hitting the free agent market this offseason. It’s part of the reason why they traded away effective defensive members of the team in Chandler Jones and Jamie Collins ahead of time. You just can’t resign everybody. Now, the Patriots will focus on guys like

Malcolm Butler, Dont’a Hightower and Martellus Bennett, among others. But there are a couple other soon-to-be free agents who have been pretty instrumental to the team’s success this season, though they don’t come to mind immediately as players the Patriots have to re-sign. In fact, neither are even the most popular player from Rutgers on the team — that title goes to Devin McCourty. Both Logan Ryan and Duron Harmon have stepped up in big ways during the playoffs, but the truth is their impact in the secondary has been big all season. Since Butler has become a shutdown cor-

ner in this league, quarterbacks are looking to throw elsewhere. That means Ryan has been busy all season long. How busy? Well, he led all NFL cornerbacks in total tackles this season, with 92 — also a team high. That doesn’t mean quarterbacks are completing passes on him a bunch. He’s just in on a lot of tackles. According to NESN, Ryan allowed 56 receptions during the season. Against the Texans in the divisional round, Ryan allowed three catches for just 9 yards with an interception. He made seven tackles in the game, including a sack. It was one of the best games he’s played. “Logan [Ryan] works

hard,” Bill Belichick told reporters. “He studies film relentlessly. He does a great job preparing for the overall passing game and the individual matchup that he has. I think he’s one of the hardest working players, one of our smarter players that’s great at communication and understanding it. He has a lot of experience in this system and he and Devin [McCourty], Pat [Chung], Duron [Harmon], the corners all work well together, but he’s kind of right in the middle of it.” Harmon also had a pick against the Texans, and followed that strong performance up with perhaps the biggest defensive play of the AFC Championship Game.

With the Patriots up 17-6 in the closing minutes of the second quarter, Ben Roethlisberger completed a pass to tight end Jesse James, who got past Pat Chung and headed for the end zone. As Chung wrapped himself around James’ legs, the tight end dove for pay dirt. That’s when he met Harmon, who came sprinting in from the end zone and put a shoulder into James, forcing his elbow to hit the ground inches short the goal line. The Patriots then stopped the Steelers on three straight plays, and they settled for a field goal. “That was huge,” McCourty told reporters of the hit. “I told [Duron]

as soon as he got in the sideline that was a big tackle, from Chung hustling and then [Duron] making sure he [James] didn’t get across the goal line. That gave us a shot and that’s how we play defensively.” Both Ryan and Harmon have made roughly $3.8 million each over their first four years in the NFL. Ryan has never missed a game, and Harmon missed just one during his rookie year. Both will earn more money next season — and Ryan could be in for a big pay day. But before any of that happens, expect them to be big parts of what could be their last game with the Patriots in Super Bowl LI.

Why Viagra Is Failing Men Soaring demand expected for new scientific advance made just for older men. Works on both men’s physical ability and their desire in bed. By Harlan S. Waxman Health News Syndicate

WORKS ON YOUR HEAD AND YOUR BODY

New York – If you’re like the rest of us guys over 50; you probably already know the truth… Prescription ED pills don’t work! Simply getting an erection doesn’t fix the problem” says Dr. Bassam Damaj, chief scientific officer at the world famous Innovus Pharma Laboratories. As we get older, we need more help in bed. Not only does our desire fade; but erections can be soft or feeble, one of the main complaints with prescription pills. Besides, they’re expensive… costing as much as $50.00 each Plus, it does nothing to stimulate your brain to want sex. “I don’t care what you take, if you aren’t interested in sex, you can’t get or keep an erection. It’s physiologically impossible,” said Dr. Damaj.

MADE JUST FOR MEN OVER 50 But now, for the first time ever, there’s a pill made just for older men. It’s called Vesele®. A new pill that helps you get an erection by stimulating your body and your brainwaves. So Vesele® can work even when nothing else worked before. The new men’s pill is not a drug. It’s something completely different

SATISFACTION RATE (% Patients)

Vesele takes off where Viagra® only begins. Thanks to a discovery made by 3 Nobel-Prize winning scientists; Vesele® has become the first ever patented supplement to harden you and your libido. So you regain your desire as well as the ability to act on it.

impressed by the way it increases cerebral and penile blood flow. The result is evident in the creation of Vesele®. It’s sure-fire proof that the mind/body connection is unbeatable when achieving and maintaining an erection and the results are remarkable” said Dr. Damaj.

In a 16-week clinical study; scientists from the U.S.A. joined forces to prove Nitric Oxide’s effects on the cardio vascular system. They showed that Nitric Oxide could not only increase your ability to get an erection, it would also work on your brainwaves to stimulate your desire for sex. The results were remarkable and published in the world’s most respected medical journals.

HERE’S WHAT MEN ARE SAYING

The study asked men, 45 to 65 years old to take the main ingredient in Vesele® once a day. Then they were instructed not to change the way they eat or exercise but to take Vesele® twice a day. What happened next was remarkable. Virtually every man in the study who took Vesele® twice a day reported a huge difference in their desire for sex. In layman’s terms, they were horny again. They also experienced harder erections that lasted for almost 20 minutes. The placebo controlled group (who received sugar pills) mostly saw no difference.

AN UNEXPECTED BONUS: The study results even showed an impressive increase in the energy, brain-power and memory of the participants.

RANKING THE BEST BOSTON SPORTS STARS BY AGE — BIRD TO BRADY TO BETTS OPINION

MATT BURKE @burke_metro

With Larry Bird having turned 60 years old recently and the calendar having flipped to 2017, it’s easy to feel old as a Boston sports fan. You know you’re getting old when the players you watch on a nightly basis are considerably younger than you are. I’m 34, for example, and it’s becoming increasingly hard to find guys around my age who are still lighting things up on the pro level. What’s crazy to think is that 39-year-old Tom Brady, who is considered ancient by most sports standards, never took a snap on the pro level in the 1990s. Pretty

soon there won’t be any athletes left in the four major pro sports who played in that decade (Adam Vinatieri, Jaromir Jagr — you’re our only hope). So, for nostalgia purposes I decided to rank the best Boston athletes — past and present — by current age. There were several age groups in which it was impossibly difficult to find a worthy player. For instance, former Bruin Steve Kasper was the top 55-year-old and current Celtic James Young was the top 21-year-old. In other words, 1961 and 1995 are cursed years on the Boston sports scene. On the flip side, there were some age groups where there was far too much competition. Not sure what was going on in this country in 1977 — but it should easily be Boston fans’ favorite

Tom Brady will be on this list forever, no matter what his age is. GETTY IMAGES

year. Brady was born that year. So was Paul Pierce, Randy Moss and Zdeno Chara. Another top year was 1989, as Isaiah Thomas didn’t make the cut! Unfortunately for Thomas,

Rob Gronkowski was also born that year. A look at the list from 60-year-old Larry Bird all the way down to 20-yearold David Pastrnak. Larry Bird: 60

Overcome Dementia Now Stimulating your brain with certain mental activities like learning a foreign language, taking up a musical instrument or simply solving crossword puzzles can help clear a confused mind and open up your mental pathways. I am 81. Not long ago I was forgetting names and places and getting confused sometime every day. Often, I didn’t have much to say. I was worried and withdrawn and it was getting worse. I was uncomfortable driving. My wife insisted on driving me to work, first just on snowy days, then every day. But, all that has changed now. I discovered a system that stimulated my brain exactly the way learning a new language does. But, it is much easier and quicker. There are 32 recorded segments. All you do is listen to one of the 12 minute segments when you go to sleep, and again when you wake up. My wife noticed the improvement in me in just a few weeks. I feel better, and more in control now. I like to tell jokes again. My granddaughter thinks I am fun to be with. I drive now, even in the snow. Order the system now, for yourself or a friend, and feel smart again. You can return the system for a full refund within 60 days. Send $49.00 to: Overcome Dementia Now, PO Box 541, Wilton, CT 06897. Or Call 203-761-0693, M-F, between 1 and 4 Eastern time. You have nothing to lose, and your memory to gain.
