SHOOTING AT SOUTHERN TILLERSON FACES TOUGH ROOF PLEADS GUILTY TO TALKS IN MOSCOW CALIFORNIA SCHOOL STATE MURDER CHARGES

1

At least two adults were killed and two other persons, possibly students, were struck by gunfire in a classroom shooting at a Southern California elementary school, police and fire officials said. San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said the shooting at Northpark Elementary School in San Bernardino, about 65 miles east of Los Angeles, appeared to a “murder-suicide,” but details were sketchy. “Two adults are deceased

in a classroom,” the chief said in a Twitter post, adding, “There are two wounded, possible students,” who were taken to hospitals. He said their conditions were not immediately known. “We believe the suspect is down, and there’s no further threat,” Burguan said. Authorities did not immediately furnish additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting, or the identity and motive of the shooter. REUTERS

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s visit to Moscow this week will be an early test of whether the Trump administration can use any momentum generated by a missile attack on a Syrian air base to craft and execute a strategy to end the Syrian war. Even before Trump ordered last week’s strike in retaliation for a nerve gas attack, Tillerson’s visit was certain to be dominated by

thorny issues, including Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election, an apparent violation of an important arms control treaty, and seeing what cooperation, if any, is possible in the fight against Islamic State. Now, Tillerson, a former oil executive with no diplomatic experience, is charged with avoiding a major U.S. confrontation with Russia while exacting some concessions from Moscow. REUTERS

The white supremacist sentenced to death in federal court for the 2015 shooting massacre at a historic black church in South Carolina pleaded guilty to separate state murder charges. Dylann Roof, 23, was charged in state court with murdering nine African-American parishioners as they closed their eyes in prayer at a Bible study session. Roof agreed to plead guilty in state court under a deal with prosecutors after

being convicted of 33 federal crimes, including hate crimes and obstruction of religion resulting in death. In January, a jury found he deserved the death penalty. Pleading guilty to the state charges allows for Roof’s transfer to death row and spares survivors and relatives of the victims a second round of testimony. REUTERS

An Illinois judge was shot and killed outside his Chicago home on Monday and a woman was injured in the incident, police said. Raymond Myles, 66, was found shot multiple times by police responding to a report of gunfire at the address on the city’s South Side, according to the Chicago Police Department. Myles was an associate judge in Cook County Circuit Court’s Criminal Division, according to the court’s

website. Cook County includes Chicago, the third-largest city in the United States. The incident started when a woman exited the home and encountered a man with a gun, Chief of Detectives Melissa Staples said at a news conference. Words were exchanged by the two before the man fired, hitting the woman once. Hearing the gunshots, Myles exited the residence to investigate and was fatally shot multiple times. REUTERS

Eyes off that phone: New app rewards distraction-free driving The Mojo, created by Boston startup TrueMotion, lets a driver win points and possibly prizes for keeping hands on the wheel and off the phone. KRISTIN TOUSSAINT @kristindakota

kristin.toussaint@metro.us

Have you ever looked at your phone while driving? For an overwhelming majority of people, the answer is yes. That kind of distracted driving contributed to 3,400 deaths on the road and nearly 400,000 injuries, according to a 2015 report by the National Highway Traffic Safety Ad-

ministration. Whether it is talking or texting on the phone, scrolling through the news or adjusting a map navigator, few people can avoid the dangerous but tempting proposition while hurtling down the open road. But what if there was an app that rewarded drivers for staying off their mobile devices? That’s the concept behind Mojo, a smartphone application developed by TrueMotion, a Bostonbased startup. The app awards drivers virtual points, which can turn into actual gifts for “distraction-free driving. Rafi Finegold, vice president of product at TrueMotion, thinks the app provides a fun incentive for drivers to put the

phone down. He acknowledges that it’s no easy task. “Distracted driving has that unfortunate psychological loop, he said. “You do it a few times and get away with it, so it provides a kind of reinforcement, ‘I did it that time and here I am, I’ll do it again.’ Using technology to curb distracted driving isn’t new, and even some insurance companies have separate devices to track a driver’s habits. Some apps on the market even can block text messages or calls, but Finegold said those punish a driver while not getting to the root of the impulse to check a phone. Mojo keeps a “laser focus on distracted driving and nothing else, he said. It doesn’t block other

applications and it won’t track speeding or sudden braking. Once downloaded for free, Mojo can run in the background, detecting movements and identifying patterns. After the app automatically recognizes when the user is driving a vehicle, it collects data on how often that person interacts with the phone while driving. At the end of the trip, Mojo awards a score. Each minute of distraction-free driving counts as 1 point. When a driver collects 300 points, he or she can spin a virtual “prize wheel for a chance to win. For now, TrueMotion is offering $5 Amazon gift cards. The startup is hoping to partner with other companies for more potential prize options.

Long stretch of Commonwealth Avenue to close this summer for bridge project The roadway will also see improvements, including dedicated bike lanes and better pedestrian pathways. KRISTIN TOUSSAINT @kristindakota

kristin.toussaint@metro.us

If you travel down Commonwealth Avenue, get ready for a headache starting this summer. But once work is completed, get ready for a better roadway. A 2-mile section of the Boston street will be closed to traffic between July 26 and Aug. 14, to accommodate work on the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge, the state Department of Transportation announced Monday. The road will be closed to private vehicular traffic in both directions, between Kenmore Square and Packard’s Corner. “Access through this

area will be maintained for local businesses and customers, residents, MBTA buses, emergency services, pedestrians and bicyclists during this time,” MassDOT said in a statement. The project will also require the Boston University Bridge to be closed to nonemergency and nontransit vehicles during that time, though it will be open to MBTA buses, emergency services, pedestrians and bicycles. The project, which is scheduled to be completed in 2019, will replace the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge superstructure, which supports the traffic. Commonwealth Avenue itself will also be improved, “such as additional dedicated bike lanes and extensive pedestrian pathway improvements,” according to MassDOT. It will cost $81.8 million to replace the bridge deck, which was

built in 1965. Buses will replace the Green Line B train service for stops between Babcock Street and Blandford Street from July 26 to Aug. 14. Buses 47 and CT2 will

detour from their regular routes, which may cause delays during that time period, and those who rely on bus route 57 should expect delays then as well, MassDOT warns. The Massachusetts Turnpike will also see changes during the project. The Mass Pike will be reduced to two lanes in both directions between the Allston Interchange and the Beacon Street Overpass from June 2 to 4, as well as July 28 to Aug. 2. MassDOT says that the temporary closures this summer and scheduled for the summer of 2018

will help accelerate the project, which otherwise would take four to five years to complete. Closures are scheduled over the summer to take advantage of lower traffic volume and MBTA ridership. Officials also aimed to avoid closures during July 4 and college move-in times at the end of August. Refer to MassDOT for more information on how your commute may be affected this summer because of the bridge replacement project. State House News Service contributed to this report.

‘LITTLE BILL’ Study: Librarians asked to pull Cosby books after sex assault charges Bill Cosby’s “Little Bill” children’s book series landed on a list of the 10 books Americans most often asked librarians to remove from shelves last year after he faced sex assault charges, according to a ranking released on Monday. The popular series written by Cosby and illustrated by Varnette Honeywood made its debut in ninth place on the American Library Association’s (ALA) annual list of the books that are most often challenged in libraries. “This children’s book series was challenged because of criminal sexual allegations against the author,” the nation’s oldest library organization said on its website. More than 50 women have accused 79-year-old Cosby of sexual assault in a series of alleged attacks dating back to the 1960s. Most of the claims are too old to be the subject of criminal prosecution, but Cosby is due to go on trial in June for charges made in Pennsylvania. The “Little Bill” series was the subject of some of the 323 challenges to books reported to the ALA’s Office for Intellectual Freedom. The once-heralded children’s series includes three titles selected by Oprah Winfrey for her influential book club, including “The Meanest Thing to Say,” “The Treasure Hunt” and “The Best Way to Play.” Another Cosby book, his autobiography “Childhood,” is the subject of a court battle in his case, with prosecutors seeking to introduce as evidence excerpts which they say show his willingness to use intoxicants to incapacitate women before assaulting them. GOSSIP

Is Brad Pitt dating Sienna Miller now? As you know, Brad Pitt has recently returned to his peak form. Maybe he’s working out his recent deluge of post-divorce emotions through intense cardio! And now? He might be flirting intensely with Sienna Miller — when he’s not overcome with intense melancholy about the dissolution of his marriage. Fun! Page Six reports that the almost-divorced 53-year-old was doing some “serious flirting” with Miller, 35, during a private dinner for “The Lost City of Z.” Miller stars in the film,

and Pitt is a producer. Spies — I’m picturing some characters dressed in the finest World War II-era garb — claim the pair were heavily enjoying each other’s company, and were talking to each other all night. Sounds like pretty standard behavior, but OK! Miller shot down rumors in 2015 that she was flirting with the then-married Pitt, saying, “You know, he’s the producer of the film and I’ve met him twice. It’s insane.”

Maybe third time’s the charm, eh? But like, probably not. Brad Pitt is way too sad right now to be flirting with young starlets all willy-nilly.

Considering it was very clearly a rebound relationship, it lasted for quite a long time. The pop diva was linked to Tanaka after her messy AF split from fiancé James Packer. Tanaka, 33, spent a great deal of time telling everyone that the pair was destined to be. I bet he feels great about that now. According to TMZ, Tanaka was essentially a gold digger brimming with jealousy. Gold digger? Probably. I don’t know why he would feel jealous, but I guess Carey’s people gotta spin it somehow. “Bryan

Halle Berry shared a candid photo of the back of her son’s head, and it’s really beautiful. Bill Nighy hates watching Bill Nighy The “Their Finest” actor never sees most of the movies he’s been in.

Have you seen this film yet? I never watch the movies I’m in. It’s like photographs. I used to hate having my photograph taken. Then I realized: I’m never going to see them. So it’s OK.

MATT PRIGGE @mattprigge

matt.prigge@metro.us

In person, Bill Nighy is the embodiment of dry English self-deprecation. But he’s not always like that onscreen. There’s Billy Mack, of course, his star-making, movie-stealing turn in “Love Actually,” whose short film reunion officially airs in the U.S. on May 25 as part of Red Nose Day. (It’s already shown in the U.K.) And there’s Ambrose Hilliard, his character in “Their Finest.” The new

Gemma Arterton and Bill Nighy try to make a propaganda film to boost English morale during World War II in “Their Finest,” in theaters Friday. STX ENTERTAINMENT

GETTY

English drama looks at the propaganda films made during World War II, specifically a

fictitious one meant to drum up morale as England was routinely blitzed. Nighy’s Ambrose is an aging, fading yet still fatuous movie idol who finds himself starring in a film about a subject far more important than his ego. But again, the real Nighy, 67, is the opposite of egomaniacal.

You could always watch the parts of your movies that don’t have you in it. I’ve tried that, but it’s very complicated. Maybe when I’m really, really old, I’ll sit and watch something. But I doubt it, because it will only upset me. Have you seen any of the films or shows you’re in? Yeah, over the years. It’s hard to avoid. And you have to do ADR, which is dubbing. That’s always terrible. All actors come out of ADR reeling, thinking, “Oh my God, I’ve got to do something else for a living.” Not the least because

Billy Mack returns I did want to ask about perhaps your most famous role, “Love Actually’s” Billy Mack, which you recent reprised for the Red Nose Day reunion short. How was it getting back into character after some 14 years? I can still get into the trousers; that was a relief. I had to wear some chains and some very odd kind of jewelry, which was unsettling. I wear a bright, white, fake snakeskin leather blouson underneath a full-length animal skin coat. And I’ve got these shoes. The shoes are bizarre. In fact, the shoes are a tribute to Johnny Depp. They have the word “Libertine” written on each sole. And they’re electric blue. They’re massive; they’re like furniture. I don’t know what you’d ever wear them with; I don’t know where you’d wear them. But you can actually bid for them on auction. You could be the lucky person who owns these shoes.

it’s before the film has been color-graded, so everyone looks their absolute worst. And then there’s the acting. You can’t stand the acting. It’s not so much the way I look or sound; it’s the acting I can’t recover from. There’s little bits of cowardice only I see. And there’s that thing I always do as a default when I can’t pull something off. It occurred to

me recently that maybe that thing, which I find so shaming, is probably something members of the audience think, “Oh, it’s that thing, we like that thing. He’s doing that thing again, that thing we like.” Hopefully that’s wishful thinking. But people do keep hiring me, and that’s the hard information we must never forget.

Charlie McDowell is Hollywood royalty. He’s the son of Mary Steenburgen and Malcolm McDowell. (The two were married before she wed Ted Danson.) But he’s no rich kid cashing in on his parents’ success. He’s worked hard, and he’s co-written and directed two films that show he has a real, uncompromising voice. “The One I Love, starring Elisabeth Moss and Mark Duplass, is a brutally honest (and funny) look at relationships. His latest film, “The Discovery, is about death. Robert Redford plays a physicist who claims he’s scientifically proved the existence of an afterlife. It’s not a huge sci-fi film; it’s character-driven, set largely at the doctor’s remote clinic, where he deals with family members (Jason Segel, Jesse Plemons), staff (Riley Keough) and a mysterious woman (Rooney Mara). And it’s another McDowell film that doesn’t shy away from gloomy subject matter. “That’s the sandbox me and Justin [Lader], my writing partner, like to play in,

At first he seems grandfatherly, but we quickly learn he’s unstable, unpredictable, maybe even dangerous. “There were two reasons I wanted Redford, explains McDowell. “One was the movie opens with his character explaining that he’s proven the existence of the afterlife. We need to hear it from someone who we believe what they’re saying. There are very few actors on the planet that when they say, ‘The afterlife exists and I have proven it,’ you believe it. Redford is definitely one of those people. McDowell also want-

Another screen legend McDowell found himself directing was his mom. Steenburgen only has only one scene, right at the beginning, and McDowell said he didn’t want to treat her any dierently, either. “I had to tell myself, ‘OK, you can’t get too into the idea that you’re directing your mom. This is the actress that’s doing this scene,’â€? McDowell remembers. “But I did call her ‘Mom’ when I went up to give her direction. It would have been very weird to call her ‘Mary.’ It was totally my mom right there.â€?

ed to give Redford — an example of unfailing nobility — the chance to try something brand-new. “I thought it would be really interesting to see darker sides to Redford’s performance, he says. He cites one moment halfway through the film, where his character creepily intimidates one of his employees, played by Riley Keough, in front of his entire staff. He makes her cry, at which point Redford — in an unscripted moment he did on the spot — leans in, wipes away the tear and asks her, chillingly, to keep speaking. “I remember being at the monitor, thinking, ‘Oh my god, that is cold.’ It almost scared me, McDowell recalls. “I went up afterwards and said, ‘Bob that was dark, man.’ He was like, ‘I know! Was it too much?’ I said, ‘No, that was great!’ It shows that Bob at 80 years old is still trying new things.

MAKE HEALTHY YOUR NEW HAPPY

The best streaming workouts wellbeing Have your sweat sesh in the comfort of your own home, thanks to these online fitness options. ALL PHOTOS ISTOCK

Keep up your exercise routine without leaving the house. SHARON FEIEREISEN @MetroBOS letters@metro.us

Welcome to the world of online fitness. Whether you’re new to working out — and the thought of squatting and lunging in a room filled with three dozen svelte athleisure-wearing pseudo-athletes is daunting — or you’re just too busy to make time to attend classes IRL, there are now a number of ways to sweat it out with some of the biggest names in the fitness industry, without even having to leave your apartment. Better yet, you won’t be alone. Many of the fitness brands that have extended their reach via technology have built communities around their streaming workouts. Look up#TARealTime, for example, and you’ll find countless Tracy Anderson enthusiasts with dedicated Instagram pages to track their progress and encourage each other to keep up with their workouts. With summer around the corner, there’s no

better time to check out one of these accessible options, which will save you time, money and make it harder to find excuses to skip out on exercise.

Tracy Anderson $90 a month or $475 for six months Anderson was one of the first to enter this space, and she was the first to do it in a raw, unfiltered way (there’s literally just a camera set up in her studio filming her Master Class). A new Anderson-led workout is uploaded every Wednes-

day — replacing the prior week’s — and includes her signature arm and floor movements as well as a separate dance cardio workout. There’s a weekly “trainer breakdown,” to make sure you’re doing the moves correctly as well as a separate beginner’s cardio workout. The cost is a bit steep, but remember that Anderson’s studio membership is $900/month with a $1,500 initiation fee.

Unlike with Anderson, Body by Simone TV — launched by Simone de la Rue — is constantly adding to their library of workout videos, rather than swapping one for another. Each video is 20 minutes long, and they’re designed to supplement one another. Included in the library are de la Rue’s signature cardio, ab, leg, trampoline, and jump rope sequences.

BBS TV

BeFit YouTube Channel

$14.99 a month or $120 a year

Free If you’re looking for a

mix of workouts from a variety of celebrity fitness personalities — think Jillian Michaels and Billy Blanks Jr. — and if you’re on a budget, check out this near daily updated free fitness channel. Want to work out on the go? A selection of videos are optimized for mobile devices; choose between barre, HITT, yoga, cardio core, and Krav Maga, all ranging from five to 35 minutes.

clearly loves to move her body. Winhoffer follows in the footsteps of Anderson (who also trained Madonna), posting nonedited videos filmed directly in-studio as she teaches her sweaty classes. As for the class itself, it’s part toning, part dance-cardio. A new hourlong workout is posted every Sunday and after two weeks disappears — meaning at any given time you have access to two sessions.

AKT On Demand

Physique57

$34.99 a month New subscribers get a 15-minute trainer consult before beginning an online workout with Kelly Ripa’s go-to trainer, Anna Kaiser. Your subscription gives you access to the entire AKT library of workouts — over 150 workouts and 1,500-plus minutes of content. AKT also offers live private training, nutrition sessions, program consultations, and a 10-day workout calendar.

$30 a month If you’re looking for a barre or Pilates-inspired workout, check out Physique57’s streaming options. They have more than 40 videos from 10 minutes to an hour each and cover strength training, cardio, and restorative workouts (all workouts are nonimpact). If you have a specific goal in mind, you’ll also be able to pick from two to 12-week workout plans. Unlike Physique57’s in-studio classes, these can be done without equipment.

Crunch Live $9.99 a month or $90 a year For an affordable mix of styles and instructors, Crunch Live is a great option. The streaming service has more than 85 online videos inspired by Crunch Gym’s most popular classes ranging from total body bootcamp and dance cardio, to Pilates, yoga and barre.

#NWCHURCH $80 a month It’s hard not to love Madonna’s bubbly former trainer Nicole Winhoffer. She’s upbeat, loves to whip her hair, and BeFit’s free Youtube channel is optimized for mobile devices so you can work out via your phone.

Peloton $1,995 for the bike and $39 a month for streaming Peloton is more of a commitment than the other streaming options because it requires purchasing a bike (though the one-time investment pales in comparison to the cost of regular SoulCycle or Flywheel classes). Use the at-home bike to ride along with live in-studio classes or a spinning workout from its on-demand library. Riders benefit from the bike’s real-time performance tracking — and from instructors giving them real time shoutouts since this streaming is interactive.

DanceBody $12.99 a week, 34.99 a month, or $419.88 a year Filmed in real time, new workouts are added each month. The growing library includes dance-inspired sweat sessions ranging from 10 to 90 minutes. While they’re not mandatory, DanceBody’s specifically designed equipment — like the Hex Mat and Dance Bands— do come in handy for the floor work and dance cardio portions.

NEGOTIATING TACTIC week — it was reported by the Boston Herald’s Jeff Howe on Monday that Marshawn Lynch “privately expressed interest in playing for the Patriots if talks break off with the Raiders.” Beast Mode is playing right into the Pats’ negotiating plans with Blount on that nugget. Probably some sort of side deal with an agent.

The Patriots are playing hardball with running back LeGarrette Blount by leaking out whispers that they’re talking to similar power running backs with bigger names. Childish? Yes. Will it work out for the Pats in the end? Yes. Expect Blount to re-sign next week. After having the prettiest girl in school, Adrian Peterson, in for a workout last

OTIS GOES MISSING RIC FLAIR WALKS INTO A BAR … Ric Flair looked like he was 75 years old in 1992. Today, he looks like the brother of the Crypt Keeper. The years have not been kind to ol’ Nature Boy — but he’s lived quite the life. No one parties as hard on a nightly basis than the 68-year-old Flair. Flair was reportedly hammered on a nice,

quiet Sunday night iin n Fort Wayne, Indiana, a,, tthis hs hi week and got kicked outt d ou of a bar there after b being eiing e ng present for “roughly y ffive ive iv e minutes.” According to the Indianapolis Star, he called the bartender a “fat ass” and was generally “acting like a moron.”

FIRST-WORLD PROBLEMS ESPN.com’s Mike Reiss pointed out this week that the Patriots do not have space for a fifth Super Bowl banner in the south end zone at Gillette Stadium. (Note: This is EXACTLY why the rest of the country despises us.) “This is the definition of what owner Robert Kraft calls a ‘high-class problem’ to have,” Reiss wrote. “When this was mentioned, it was relayed that the club is considering design plans on how to proceed with the fifth Super Bowl

banner.” The Pats have time me to think this one over er as they won’t unveil the banner until that opening Thursday night in September on National TV. Speaking of that, the NFL will release its full 2017 regular season schedule at some point next week. No doubt, the NFL Network’s broadcast of the schedule release will blow whatever live baseball game being shown on MLB Network out of the water in the TV ratings.

He was seen leaving his Woodstock, Georgia, home at 10 a.m. on Saturday for a golf outing. He never arrived at the course, and Woodstock police asked for help from the

public in locating the 58-year-old on Sunday. Nixon was found safe on Monday afternoon, but the wire reports were vague as hell regarding his disappearance. What the hell happened to Otis here?! The guy was arrested for crack possession a few years back, but no word on if drugs played a factor in this odd incident.

POINTS ON THE SEASON FOR OTTAWA’S ERIK KARLSSON

The Bruins fell to the Senators four times this season. GETTY IMAGES

The Sens swept the season series from the B’s. RICH SLATE @Richslate

sports@metro.us

You could make a compelling argument that the biggest win of the season in 2016-17 for the Bruins (44-31-7) technically didn’t even involve them. A very late Christmas gift came courtesy of the Blue Jackets (5024-8), who won, 3-2, at the Maple Leafs (40-2715) on Sunday on the final night of the regular season. Toronto’s loss in regulation was Boston’s major gain as it meant that the Leafs draw the Capitals (55-19-8) in round 1 while the Bruins get a much more winnable series vs. Ottawa (44-2810). Suddenly, a postseason that looked like it would be very brief and painful against Washington has some legitimate hope for the Black and Gold. Granted the Senators swept all four games with the B’s this season, but they’re not on the same level as Washington. Ottawa finished in second-place in the At-

lantic Division, three points ahead of thirdplace Boston and the teams have never met before in the playoffs. There is a sense that this solid season by the Senators is a bit of a mirage since they are the only team in the playoffs (from either conference) with a negative goaldifferential (minus-2). They scored the fewest goals by far of the 16 teams that are still alive which is why it’s paramount that the B’s score first and make the Sens play from behind. Ottawa’s neutral-zone trap is sure to make for some boring hockey, and lowscoring, close games are on tap. The injury bug hit Boston hard at the end of the season as defenseman Torey Krug (8 goals, 43 assists) left Thursday’s 2-1 shootout loss to the Senators at TD Garden with a lower-body injury. To make matters worse, rookie defenseman Brandon Carlo (6 goals, 10 assists) left Saturday’s season-finale vs. Washington with an upper-body injury. On Monday, GM Don Sweeney said that Krug is unlikely to play in Game 1 on Wednesday (7, NHL Network) at Ottawa’s Ca-

nadian Tire Centre while Carlo has already been ruled out. The Bruins made a huge move on Monday by signing former BU star defenseman Charlie McAvoy to a three-year entry level deal and he was at practice later that day. A first-round pick of the Bruins in 2016 (he was 14th overall), he had two assists and was plus3 in four games with the Providence Bruins. Regarding McAvoy — who just completed his sophomore season on Commonwealth Avenue with the Terriers, Sweeney noted that “we feel comfortable-having seen him play recently-with his skill set that he’d be able to handle it. We’ll have to see, that’s a decision that Bruce [Cassidy] decides to make.” There is recent history for the Bruins in a similar situation: As an undrafted rookie, Krug was an integral part of the 2013 team that went to the Stanley Cup Final vs. Chicago. Boston’s fourth-line center, Noel Acciari (2 goals, 3 assists), has also been declared out for Game 1 with an upperbody injury. Ottawa appears to have good news on the injury front as their best player-defenseman Erik Karlsson (17 goals, 54 assists)-along with defenseman Marc Methot (12 assists) and center Zack Smith (16 goals, 16 assists) are projected to be ready for Game 1 after missing time recently with various injuries. Game 2 is Saturday afternoon (3, NBC) then the series shifts to Boston on Patriots’ Day (7, CNBC) for Game 3 and next Wednesday (7:30, USA Network) for Game 4. If necessary, Game 5 would be in Ottawa on April 21, Game 6 would be in Boston on April 23 and Game 7 would be April 26 in Canada’s capital city.

Gemini Deal with personal papers and any problems you face with government institutions. Taking care of business will help ease uncertainty and ongoing stress.

Sagittarius Question anyone asking for something that makes you uneasy. Avoid getting trapped by someone pressuring you to make a commitment.

Cancer Take time to evaluate and develop your ideas instead of rushing into something you know little about. Be a leader, not a follower.

Leo You can bring about positive change. Taking responsibility and sticking to your plans will help you avoid getting into a disagreement. Honor your word.
