Since 1987, the REDWOOD EMPIRE FOOD BANK has been feeding our neighbors in need and leading the community to end hunger.

As the largest hunger-relief organization in Northern California, we work on the front lines of emergency food assistance, helping individuals, families, seniors, and children in Sonoma County and beyond. With more than 300 direct service distributions, and 150 partnerships with other hunger-relief organizations, residents facing food insecurity have access to more than 450 weekly and monthly grocery distribution sites.
We could not accomplish this without strategic resources. Our donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations provide the fi nancial fuel our organization requires. Over 10,000 dedicated volunteers work at our distribution sites and warehouse to serve or prepare food for our community. And of course, there are our employees, whose dedication and effort make them the vital Hunger Relief Workers our community relies upon every day.
