PAELLA PARTY Spanish wines, cheeses and homemade seafood paella will be served Feb. 8 in Hollister. HOLLISTER TASTE OF SPAIN

DeRose Winery presents its 14th annual Taste of Spain, featuring a selection of Spanish wines, cheeses and Alphonse DeRose’s homemade seafood paella. All guests ages 21 and over are welcome. A $40 entry fee paid at the door includes wine, food and eligibility for sale specials being offered the day of the event only. Saturday, Feb. 8, 11am-5pm at DeRose Winery, 9970 Cienega Road. HOLLISTER IMPROVISATIONAL COMEDY

San Benito High School’s Drama Club will present a family-friendly comedy, ComedySportz High School League Show. Attendees will have an opportunity to be a part of the show, as ComedySportz performances are improvised based on suggestions from the audience. Tickets are $7 at the door; students may purchase tickets in advance at the Student Payment Center for $5 with ASB or $6 with ID. WATSONVILLE AGRICULTURAL HISTORY

Agricultural History Project’s Second Saturday on the Farm, this month themed Hearts & Flowers on the Farm, features sugar cookie decorating, Valentine’s crafts and spring flower planting. Other activities include tractor driving and wooden cow milking, as well as photo opportunities and a puppet show. Saturday, Feb. 8, 11am-3pm at Agricultural History Project, 2601 E. HOLLISTER OSCAR PARTY

The GardenShoppe’s Hollister-style Oscar party features chances to predict the major Oscar awards for raffle prizes, and a $50 gift certificate will be awarded to the best-dressed male and female. Participants will model their outfits on the red carpet, and the award will be presented to the best-dressed in sweats and tennis shoes; spike heels and fancy dresses are not allowed.
