Compared

Locally owned businesses create more jobs and, in some sectors, provide better wages and benefits than online mega retailers and non-local chains do.

In 1915, A. R. Corrick bought a stationery store in downtown Santa Rosa, and it’s been passed down parent-to-child since. Fourth-generation owners Keven and Jeri Brown have continued to shape the shop into a one-of-a-kind, yet old world shopping experience.

Beyond just a “family business” though, the Corrick/Brown family has used their business to create an epicenter of love and community downtown. There’s a tremendous family mentality that begins with Keven and Jeri, that cares for everyone who works and shops at Corrick’s, and reaches out to the other downtown businesses and throughout Santa Rosa.
