Cooks can learn everything needed to host a crepe brunch or dinner at the Crepes 101 cooking demonstration. Batter, tricks for flipping, sauces and more will be discussed, and sweet and savory crepes will both be prepared and enjoyed. Participants will experience tastings of each featured dish–carefully paired with wine–throughout the informative discussion of techniques. Choose from two sessions, Saturday, Feb. 8 or Sunday, Feb. 9, 4:30-6:30pm either evening at Lion Ranch Vineyards & Winery, 645 W. GILROY BUNCO FUNDRAISER

South County Tail Waggers presents its third annual bunco event, “Mardi Paws Bunco Night.” Attendees will have the opportunity to win bunco and raffle prizes. They will also enjoy complimentary appetizers, desserts, refreshments and a no-host bar. Instructions will be available before the game begins. Agricultural History Project’s Second Saturday on the Farm, this month themed Hearts & Flowers on the Farm, features sugar cookie decorating, Valentine’s crafts and spring flower planting. Other activities include tractor driving and wooden cow milking, as well as photo opportunities and a puppet show. Saturday, Feb. 8, 11am-3pm at Agricultural History Project, 2601 E. Attendees can spend the evening learning about Fernwood’s winemaking process and philosophies as winemaker Matt Oetinger walks guests through tasting wines not yet bottled.
