Certain daily habits may help you achieve more happiness in your life.
One of these is exercise, and not just for your body. Regular exercise can help reduce stress, feelings of anxiety, and symptoms of depression while boosting self-esteem and happiness. Even a small amount of physical activity can make a di erence. You don’t have to train for a triathlon or scale a cli — unless that’s what makes you happy, of course.
Exercise for Mental Health
Daily exercise has been shown to improve mental health by reducing stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as increasing feelings of happiness, self-esteem, and overall well-being. It also helps improve sleep and cognitive function. Regular physical activity is a key component of maintaining good mental health.

Ten years ago, Steve and Samantha Foster made a life changing decision.
Steve is a fully qualified audiometrist with more than 25 years’ experience, but was made unexpectedly redundant when the clinic he was working for was bought out by a large corporate identity.
Samantha made the bold decision to also leave her job to allow the pair to fully focus on starting their own business, with Steve initially visiting clients in their homes. Samantha became the General Manager, dealing with all the business administration.
One decade later and Hear Again has thriving clinics in Auckland and Christchurch, with a third poised to open in Tauranga this year. Its current clinicians, including Hornby clinic audiometrist Neil Hardisty, are all members of the NZAS (New Zealand Audiological Society) and have a combined 70 years of experience.
“Neil changes lives. He’s very approachable and caring,” says Samantha.
This business prides itself on its customer service and follow-up care.
“It’s the customer care and fine tuning that matters - we don’t just fit hearing aids –we fit them properly.”
Sudden hearing loss should not be left unchecked. “We can do the necessary tests then refer the client onto ENT specialists, if needed,” says Samantha. Alongside fitting aids and providing hearing tests, the clinic also o ers wax removal by micro-suction.
The Hornby clinic celebrates its sixth birthday this year; after chatting with Samantha, it is clear why this business has established such strong roots in the community it serves.
