Calling art lovers everywhere. The Christchurch Art Show is back at the orange light level, with its ninth show set to take place this coming June 2022.
As Christchurch’s largest art sales event of the year, it is the perfect opportunity for those looking for that something special to fi nd what they have been missing. Or simply come along and enjoy the beautiful array of pieces on display.
The art show will also be the fi rst exhibition at the new Christchurch Convention Center, Te Pae.
The incredible space will be hosting the exhibition as its fi rst large public event, so it is a great opportunity to experience Te Pae alongside the incredible artworks.
Following the exclusive opening night on Friday 24 June, the show days are open to the Christchurch public for three days, Saturday 25, Sunday 26, and Monday 27 June. This falls over the new national Matariki holiday weekend.
The Christchurch Art Show o ers the opportunity to view and buy original art from local New Zealand artists. There is also the chance to meet the artists behind the amazing artworks, which is a wonderful way to understand the art better and get to know their process. The price range is $20-$10,000 boasting a market for every art lover.
