MY AIM I believe that real quality should be visible to the eye even before the first touch. We are sentient beings, and therefore I believe it makes a huge difference to us when we choose quality in the products we are surround by. My aim is that you will enjoy the quality and design of the Mette Ditmer products for a long time. Both personally and as a designer I value that a product appeals to multiple senses â&#x20AC;&#x201C; my designs should not only be aesthetically pleasing visually, but should also feel good when used. I do not like the throw-away mentality. This is why I am determined to make every new collection a continuation of the previous, so that you can mix and match the new items with the products you already own. Design is aesthetics, functionality, and quality â&#x20AC;&#x201C; and all three elements should be present to define what is truly good design.

BOUDOIR A boudoir (/ˈbu dwa r/; French: [bu.dwa ]) is a woman’s private salon, usually situated between the dining room and the bedroom; but can also refer to a woman’s private bedroom. The BOUDOIR cushion collection is made from beautiful and characteristic tapestry, soft velour, and textured fabrics. The different textures, colours, and patterns are visually bound together by discreet pipings in matching colours. 4

Mette Ditmer has created these beautiful posters with her distinctive and stylish sense of colour composition, combining simple patterns and colour blocks in either, soft tone-in-tone harmonies or more contrasting expressions. The posters are created in small series of two or three matching posters, but there is also plenty of opportunity to mix and match the different art pieces across the series. It doesn't matter if your wall is painted in a calm and clean white nuance or in a warm and dusty colour tone, these posters are ideal for creating a beautiful focal point in your living space. 100% RECYCLED GLASS Glass is an amazing substance. It can be recycled over and over again. The good thing about glass recycling is that the glass retains its quality. The glass used for the SONATA vases is sourced from glass containers. Only glass without any additives is selected for the recycling. The glass can be melted at 40% lower temperatures than a standard production of raw glass, which saves a lot of energy. This recycling process is a beautiful example of sustainability and the â&#x20AC;&#x153;cradleto-cradleâ&#x20AC;? way of thinking. Imagine how many bottles and glass jars that are used daily around the world. If we were to simply throw them away, the environment would suffer greatly. Recycled glass reduces the emissions of air and water pollution by respectively 20% and 40% compared to a new glass production. Reducing industrial pollution not only benefits the environment but also the entire ecosystem. The saved energy in recycling 3 bottles only is enough to charge a smartphone battery for one year! 31

The Mette Ditmer towels always have a special hanger, as both a practical and beautiful detail. This loop-hanger makes it much easier to fit the towel on the bathroom hook. On the bath towels the loop hanger is placed at the middle of the long side to avoid that the towel meets the floor when hung. P RO D UCT IO N: The Mette Ditmer towels are produced respectively in Portugal and Turkey, under strict Oeko-tex control regarding use of chemicals, and with respect for the environment and peopleâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s working conditions. 131
