The creation of the SS25 collection is a process driven by creativity, commitment, and the combined efforts of a talented team. It all begins in the design studio. For Mette Ditmer, designing is an ongoing journey that starts with raw sketches and notes.
“Inspiration strikes from everyday moments. It could be anything – a fleeting idea, a colour, a shape.
Throughout the year, I document and refine my ideas, slowly shaping them into concepts.”
Through dedication, close collaboration, and good craftmanship, ideas evolve into designs and ultimately final products. It’s a cycle filled with challenges and persistence, balancing the original inspiration with practical application.
“As most people know, doubts are intrinsic to creation in any form. This doubt will sometimes strike
me, when I’m holding the actual product. But once we enter the photo studio, something magical happens.”
Surrounded by carefully planned settings and thoughtful styling, the products reveal their true essence, and everything falls into place. Here, the initial spark of passion is rekindled, and the vision behind each design becomes clear. The styling, the atmosphere, and the context bring the products to life, reaffirming their place and purpose.
The SS 25 collection embodies this journey between two creative spaces; one where the designs take shape and another where they are brought into context. Each product tells a story, crafted with care and attention to detail, designed to inspire and stand the test of time.
