Meleeah Abkarian ’10 ―›1 Voice Instructor: Mariné Ter-Kazaryan

Meleeah received her master’s degree in Vocal Performance from Cal State University Northridge and has performed in several international opera programs. She works as a piano and voice instructor at 88 Keys Music Academy in Arcadia.

Jacqueline Andresen ’19 ―›2 Violin Instructor: Dorthy Kwon

Jacqueline is in her final year at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Music. She studies Music Theory and Composition (concentration Screen Scoring) with film composer Chris Hajian and composer and conductor Alba S. Torremocha.

Isabel received her Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance from Cal State Fullerton and works as a Surgical Veterinary Assistant at VCA Animal Specialty Group in Pico Rivera. Coleman Bryant ’17 ―›3 Jazz Drums Instructors: Roy McCurdy and Dr. Ray Briggs

Since graduating from UCLA in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Political Science and a minor in Music Industry, Coleman now works as an artist and executive at CMMND, an LA-based art collective and media production company.

Saren currently studies Electrical Engineering at CalTech and returned to PCM for the 2022 Summer Chamber Intensive.

Esther (Langer) Delamater ’15 ―›5 Viola Instructor: Rachel Fabulich

Esther received her Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance from Northern Illinois University and her Master of Music in Viola Performance from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She teaches at Academy of Sound, is an instructor at Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestras (WYSO), and teaches with WYSO’s Music

Max DoVale ’17 ―›6 Jazz Piano Instructor: Gary Fukushima

Max has completed his bachelor’s degree in Music Composition at Loyola University in New Orleans, and now works as a jazz pianist and music director for a theater company in the city.

Jadon Elliott ’20 ―›7 Guitar Instructor: Dr. Brian Barany

Jadon studies Music Composition at Shenandoah University and plans to pursue a career scoring for film and television.

Sudi just entered her second year at the University of Southern California. She is studying neuroscience and pursuing various research projects, while continuing her piano studies. Silvana Gutierrez ’12 ―›8 Violin Instructor: Rachel Fabulich

After receiving both her Bachelor’s in International Politics and her MBA from Georgetown University, Silvana recently joined the global consulting firm, Huron, as Strategy and Operations Consultant in Washington D.C. Silvana currently serves on PCM’s Advisory Council.

Piano and Jazz Drums Instructors: Elizabeth Babor and Dr. Ray Briggs

Clay Hillenburg received a Bachelor’s in Music from Bard College and currently works at iHeart Media. He also performs with his band around Los Angeles.

Kaetlyn Liddy ’17 ―›9 Voice Instructor: Mariné Ter-Kazaryan

In May, Kaetlyn received her B.A. in English and Anthropology from Brown University, graduating with honors; she now works as a Newsroom Coordinator at

NBC News in New York City. Throughout the pandemic, she studied virtually with Ms. Ter-Kazaryan and played lead roles in several musical theater productions, including Company.

Patrick Liddy ’16 ―›1 Piano Instructor: Hsin-Tai Liu

In addition to studying piano, Patrick grew up racing karts and club cars. In 2018, Patrick debuted in Lamborghini Super Trofeo and currently races in the Pro division in Lamborghini’s Young Drivers Program. In 2020, he graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.A. in Philosophy and English. He continues to play classical piano for family and personal enjoyment.

Eric Lifland ’12 ―›2 Piano Instructor: Annie Chen

Eric graduated from University of Pennsylvania in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Music. He was recently appointed the Middle & Upper School Music Teacher at Polytechnic School and is the Director of the Apprentice Choir at the Los Angeles Children’s Chorus. Alex Mansour ’16 ―›3 Instruments: Piano and Cello Instructors: Dr. Stephen Cook, Gary Fukushima, and Rebecca Merblum

After graduating from the University of Notre Dame as a double major in cello performance and film studies, Alex moved back to Los Angeles. He currently composes for both concert hall and screen and serves as principal cellist of American Youth Symphony.

Michelle Nguyen ’18 ―›4 Guitar and Chamber Music Instructors: Felix Bullock and Connie Sheu

Michelle graduated from the University of San Diego with a degree in Behavioral Neuroscience this year and is now pursuing her master’s at Stanford University in genetic counseling.

Lauren Rewers ’16 ―›5 Piano Instructor: Renee Gilormini

Lauren played collegiate volleyball at St. Olaf College in Minnesota and graduated with a degree in nursing. She now works as a nurse in Minneapolis.

Piano Instructor: Dr. Susan Svrček

David holds degrees in both Classical and Jazz Piano Performance from Vanderbilt University and received his Master’s in Commercial Composition and Arranging from Belmont University. He is an active member of Keb' Mo’s band as keyboardist and musical director and works as a pianist and composer in Nashville.

Marta received her Doctor of Medicine from Emory University School of Medicine and is now an Ophthalmology Resident at Harvard Medical School. Katelyn Vahala ’14 ―›7 Piano and Chamber Music Instructors: Dr. Susan Svrček and Andrew Norman

Katelyn Vahala earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees at USC Thornton School of Music and recently founded an outdoor concert series called Insert Music Here. She spent a week abroad this summer and was a finalist at the 2022 Leipzig International Bach Competition.
