BOWNESS PHOTOGRAPHY PRIZE
The William and Winifred Bowness Photography Prize was initiated by the Monash Gallery of Art Foundation in 2005. Established to promote excellence in photography, the Bowness Photography Prize and exhibition provides an opportunity to view and to engage with some of the best contemporary Australian photography.
2014 PRIZES
First prize: $25 000 non–acquisitive $1 000 Crumpler People’s Choice Award: for the most popular work as judged by visitors to the exhibition. Announced Monday 13 October 2014. Colour Factory Honorable Mention Award: photographic printing valued at $500.
