Welcome to The Sixth Form at Maidstone Grammar School for Girls
A very warm welcome to the Sixth Form at Maidstone Grammar School for Girls. We have an outstanding Sixth Form (Ofsted) where our students achieve their full potential in an academic, friendly and distinctive environment. Our Sixth Form is inclusive. We have a tradition of academic excellence and our exceptional examination results speak for themselves. Students of all backgrounds, both male and female, come together to form a community that is caring and nurturing, and that encourages each of its members to strive to be the very best that they can be, both academically and socially.

With an emphasis on the development of leadership skills, outstanding teaching staff, and a determination to strengthen students’ awareness of others, we prepare our students effectively for the world of work on the international stage. There are many opportunities to learn a language, travel abroad, and explore opportunities for further education and employment in other countries.
Achievement Our students have a scholarly approach to their studies and achieve exceptionally high levels of academic success. The vast majority of them go on to further study at university. However, our outstanding independent careers advice also provides guidance for those whose interests lie in higher level apprenticeships and employment, leading them into outstanding institutions.
