This is my practice piece. It was the first practical and woodwork that we did. I got an A grade. We learnt different types of joints like the house joint.

Unfortunately I couldn’t get a picture of my trinket box. We used lots of different technics and tools to make it. After Mr. Shaw carved our initials into the top when we had finished making the box and then we vanished it.

This is my coat hook. We made this in the metalwork department after finishing our trinket box. We used a lot of different technics and tools. When we had finished the coat hook we blowtorched it then dipped it into black power which painted it black. The hardest part was filing it.

Me and Morven were partners on the bridge project. We worked very well together and our bridge was very accurate.

We made this on Autodesk Inventor Pro after learning and drawing orthographics which can be found on page 13, 14 and 15.

We Coloured the shapes and then positioned them on a blank page.

We used all different techniques and equipment to render the water bottles. I think that the pencil one looks the best but the computer one was easiest to do.

We drew this using the drawing tables, rulers and protractors.

We also drew this using the drawing tables, rulers and protractors.

We drew this using the drawing tables, rulers and protractors.

We Drew this using isometric paper. And we tried to copy different shaped blocks.

Did You enjoy CDT this year? Yes, I learned lots of different drawing techniques and I really enjoyed making things like the coat hook and the trinket box. Do you feel more confident in CDT now? Yes, I feel more confident doing things without the teachers help and I feel more confident using the equipment. What could you have done differently this year to be more successful? I am not really sure. I think I have been as successful as I could be in CDT. Do you enjoy the type of work you covered in CDT? Yes, I enjoyed both the practical work and the graphic work. What do you plan on doing next year in CDT? I plan on working hard like I have done this year in CDT.
