The Ombora Resort is an exclusive stay, especially for surfers from around the world. W ith a direct view to the sea in West Sumba, the resort will provide full accommodation for single surfers, and families. The idea is to use rough concrete with simple shapes for the whole building mass, and maximizes frameless windows for maximum view to the environment. The architecture should reduce the boundar y between inside and outside world.

Bugbugan Retreat was initially designed for Yoga enthusiast. While Yoga is being a trend itself in the Island, this retreat wants to enhance how to live a balanced life. Means that all the balanced life between human and environment should all be implemented along the building’s process.
The Bugbugan Retreat massing was inspired by Candi Bentar, therefore in this massive architectural marriage, we adapt the suspended system to hold the fan-like ceiling , that adds value on the architectural point of view. While the interior design is subtly, one with the nature.

ROCKBUND ART MUSEUM SHANGHAI - CHINA

The Rockbund Art Museum (RAM) is a contemporary art museum in central Shanghai. The museum is housed in the former Royal Asiatic Society Building , which was also home to one of China’s first modern museums.While the British architect, David Chipperfield had previously in charge of the task of restoration and design planning of the building in 2007, Alexis Dornier was assigned to design the Interior Restoration for several floors in the museum.
Seeking to complete functional requirements to the world of Rockbund Art Museum, but at the same time to emphasize RAM’s characteristics of transparency, openness, curiosity, and fluidity. We are embracing the tradition and heritage the building has to offer, yet to evoke an intellectual contribution to the visitor by introducing reflective planes and semi-circular shape that virtually expand and broaden the juxtaposed rigidity of the building’s architecture.
