MY GIRLS! Hello Bride-to-be and Welcome! Congratulations, this is such an exciting time for you! I’m Michelle Harris, the owner and lead photographer of M Harris Studios! I’m so excited that you discovered me and because I believe that getting to know my clients is the #1 way to ensure an awesome experience, I would love to tell you a litte bit about myself. Here are a few fun facts!
- I’m 5’10 and I love heels! (So most of the time I’m about 6’2) - I have two gorgeous girls named Laila and Jordyn (pictured above) - I have a fur baby Yorkie pup named Blush, I take her everywhere! - Traveling is my favorite thing to do. I love to try new restaurants in new places! - I live in Fredericksburg, Virginia! - I am obsessed with chocolate chip cookie dough! Treat yourself. - I shoot 25-35 weddings annually. - I am always climbing on top of something, under something, or lying on the ground to get the shot I want. - I love creating beautiful images but more importantly, I love serving couples on the greatest days of their lives!!

Your wedding day is one of your life’s greatest moments and planning is
a crucial element to making this day the one you’ve been dreaming of ! By the time you get the hang of it, the planning is over! My goal as a wedding photographer is to make this aspect of your planning process as simple as possible. Photography is more than just images, they are memories you will hold on to for a lifetime. Not only do you deserve beautiful images, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. When my couples feel comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera, the result is genuine, romantic, and joyful photos! Your wedding day is an experience from beginning to end and your photography is a huge part of that experience! I believe taking your photos should be fun, enjoyable and natural! My goal is to not only capture your memories , but to add to them with an experience you will never forget.
T H E P R O C E S S | To ensure that my brides and grooms enjoy the BEST photographic experience possible, I believe it is essential to form a relationship with my couples. A bride and groom should connect with their photographer, trust their photographer and be EXCITED about the entire process before booking! After booking, I love getting to know my clients through an ENGAGEMENT SESSION that will help them warm up to the camera and leave them feeling ready to rock and roll on their wedding day! When the wedding day arrives, my clients feel more like friends, which creates a safe and relaxed environment for photography! I am more than willing to travel for engagement sessions! I love
ENGAGEMENTS:
when my couples ask me to photograph them in a location that holds a special place in their hearts! I book engagement sessions at least one month in advance with up to 50 miles of travel included.
DIGITAL FILES:
When shooting, I average 75-100 images per hour. I love being able to deliver my client’s files quickly and easily via an online gallery. You will have the ability to print, share and download your images as much as you’d like!
I am frequently asked if 8 hours is enough time to capture the full

wedding story. The answer is yes! My main goal initially is securing and saving your date. Closer to the big day, you can always add additional coverage as we develop a good idea of your timeline.

However, there will also be moments when you won’t even know that I’m there (the ceremony, dances, toasts, etc.). I teach my couples how to pose, model and interact during their engagement session so that on their big day they are naturals and don’t need as much instruction from me!

ing for, the next step is a booking proposal! I will create an online proposal that will walk you through the package. When you’re ready, you can save your date by signing your contract and paying your deposit online.

WHY INVEST?
Your first decision as an engaged couple is to establish priorities in your wedding planning process. You have to decide what you value most (the dress, the food the venue)? As a bride AND photographer, I believe that couples should make their photographer a top priority. When the big day is over, you will leave your reception with a spouse and your photos! All of your planning and preparation is over in a matter of hours, so if you’re choosing to invest in high quality photography, your captured memories deserve a classy, elegant home after the wedding. I include high end, leather bound Legacy Albums in my wedding collections. The images are printed onto the pages and the covers are wrapped with top grain leather. This is the perfect ending to The Wedding Experience and it’s a keepsake that you will be showing your children and grandchildren for years to come!
