Men's Health Information and Resource Centre

MHIRC adopts a view of health which sees it as the engagement of individuals and communities with their total physical, social, political, emotional and spiritual environments. This sees us involved in promoting the "social determinants of health" approach to male health and wellbeing in society. MHIRC promotes initiatives and research that offer a positive approach to the health and wellbeing of all males. It has been situated at the University of Western Sydney for over a decade, with basic funding supplied by NSW Health.
