NAMGRASS ANNOUNCES ECO-FRIENDLY ARTIFICIAL GRASS - A SUSTAINABLE SOLUTION FOR THE ARTIFICIAL GRASS SECTOR

Namgrass, the uk’s leading artificial grass company, is today announcing the launch of its new eco-friendly artificial grass products enriched with Pureti. Known for its air quality improvement and sustainable elements, Pureti coated namgrass is now available across all grasses within the company’s product line.

One of just three licensed distributors in the uk, the product’s arrival comes at a time when the uk’s air pollution is being monitored daily during the covid-19 pandemic. A Pureti treated metre squared of namgrass is comparable to the air purifying effects of one mature tree planted. Taking this into account plus the fact that the uk’s average garden size is 50m2, Pureti offers the same co2 equivalent that planting 50 trees in a family back garden would achieve.

Namgrass products have long been designed and manufactured to make them hard-wearing easy to clean and able to withstand heavy garden use. The addition of a Pureti treated surface means consumers will benefit from a reduction in dust, grime, mould, or algae build up, leading to an elimination of odours and a significant improvement in outdoor air quality. Jared Gardner, sales director at namgrass, commented:

“cutting edge technology has always been at the heart of the namgrass brand and we are delighted to be able to now offer a sustainable solution to artificial grass across our range. One long lasting application of Pureti will save time, money, water, chemicals, and energy which in turn helps to cultivate a sustainable cleaner environment and reverse the pollution levels on our planet.”

SMALL BUT MIGHTY - T-SHAPED STEEL POSTS FROM JACKSONS FENCING

Garden and security fencing manufacturer Jacksons Fencing has responded to industry demand and expanded its range of premium quality products by creating a metal fence post, Mi-T®. These posts reflect emerging market trends and offer a sustainable alternative to tackle the destructive nature of concrete posts.

At 2.7m long, Mi-T® posts can be used with Jacksons’ framed timber fence panels. They’re constructed from hot-dip galvanised steel to protect them from rust and corrosion, and can also be powder coated in anthracite grey.

From the front, the post can hardly be seen between panels, creating a seamless fencing run with no posts to interrupt the continuity.

Like their timber posts, Mi-T® posts also hold a 25-year guarantee.

Nick Bishenden, Senior Marketing Manager, Jacksons Fencing says: “There is a traditional audience in the UK who remain wary of using timber posts, as they have been bitten by inferior products to ours that rot after only a few years. This audience generally opts for concrete posts.

“As one of the largest UK garden fencing manufacturers, we feel it is our responsibility to help the fencing industry become more sustainable by moving away from concrete posts. Mi-T® provides an alternative to the audiences that currently opt for these.”

Chris Hone, Approved Installer Manager, Jacksons Fencing says: “Sustainable business practices are given due consideration at each stage of all of our manufacturing processes, and these are regularly reviewed to ensure continual improvement. “We are proud that Mi-T® posts are 100% recyclable, meaning they have an extremely low carbon footprint and environmental impact.

“Beyond the manufacturing process, we ensure that the installation of all of our products is as eco-friendly as possible. The new Mi-T® post is lightweight and easy to handle, so our vehicles can transport more at once, and installation is easier.

The Mi-T® posts work with several of Jacksons Fencing’s framed fence panels, including:

Tongue and Groove, Venetian, Hit and Miss, and Woven.

Peter Jackson, MD Jacksons Fencing says: “For years we have flown the flag for reliable timber posts. We’re very proud to say, they have more than proven themselves, often lasting many more years than our 25-year guarantee.

“The launch of the Mi-T® posts will broaden our range, respond to customer demand, and offer a new alternative for those looking for a more sustainable option than concrete.

“In situ, these posts are subtle, ensuring the overall aesthetic is not deterred away from the attractive natural timber panels they’re fixed to.”
