Matthijs Hammer

Matthijs Hammer, senior lecturer and researcher at Saxion University and since 2006, dedicated to the school of Entrepreneurship. He is also researcher of Effectuation, country vice president (NL) of the European Council for Small Business & Entrepreneurship (ECSB) and a member of the International Innovation Research Group of Satakunta University. The actual research is on Entrepreneurship Education, reducing Entrepreneurial Failure and talent recognition. Formerly branch manager at the European Centre for Coating and Surface Technology (ECCS) and project manager at the C&T Knowledge Centre. Before his work at Saxion University, Matthijs was a management consultant at Van Ravesteijn & Partners. The roots are within laboratory science in analytical environmental chemistry and business analysis.
