“Closing night of Hairspray. We had our big senior circle where all the underclassmen sit around us and seniors sit in the middle, and they do this thing “senior notebooks” where they give each senior a notebook and write in it. Everyone was just sitting in the middle crying.”

S

tepping into Munster High School on August 13th was full of mixed emotions. We were excited— those first steps marked the start of our senior year. Within the year, we would make life altering decisions that shaped our future like where to go to college or what do after graduation. We were scared— faced with the reality of having to step outside of our comfort zone. We were triumphant— knowing that we had endured and conquered 12 long years of schooling. But most of all, we were ready. We were ready to shed the remainder of our youth and say goodbye.

Day 35

“Hawaiian Day was very memorable. You noticed who was in the senior class and it kind of just felt like we were a collective group in the school. It was fun seeing what all my friends came up with.”
