*QUESTION NO. 58 TO THE CHIEF SECRETARY AND SECRETARY OF EDUCATION, INNOVATION AND ENERGY (By the Minority Leader) Notwithstanding the fact that the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service falls under the direct jurisdiction of the Minister of National Security, according to the Tobago House of Assembly Act Section 25 (3), which states that all State enterprises that provides services in Tobago, shall act “in accordance with the policies or programmes of the Assembly”, please provide information as it relates to the fire prevention and response in Tobago: (a) What is the status of construction of the Roxborough Fire Station? (b) What is the total number of Fire Tenders assigned to the Tobago District, and of those how many are in acceptable operating conditions according to manufacturer’s specifications.

*QUESTION NO. 62 TO THE CHIEF SECRETARY AND SECRETARY OF EDUCATION, INNOVATION AND ENERGY (By the Minority Councillor) In March 2015 the Shaw Park Cultural Facility was officially commissioned. Since commissioning there have been various issues, including electrical and air conditioning malfunctions in 2017 and 2018. Please provide the following information. (a) The construction cost of the Shaw Park Cultural facility recorded at commissioning. (b) For each type of additional work done after March 2015, please outline the type of work done, the contractor hired to complete the works, and the cost associated with each type of work. (c) Are there any outstanding works that need to be completed at the Shaw Park Cultural Facility, and what is the estimated time and cost of completion of those works.

(n) MOTIONS RELATING TO THE BUSINESS OR SITTINGS OF THE ASSEMBLY AND MOVED BY A SECRETARY OR ASSISTANT SECRETARY (o) PUBLIC BUSINESS EXECUTIVE COUNCIL BUSINESS PRIVATE BUSINESS MOTION WHEREAS the tour ism industr y has been identified as a key economic driver for the Tobago economy and by extension the national economy; AND WHEREAS the tour ism industr y has the potential to generate foreign exchange as well as create both direct and indirect employment; AND WHEREAS the Executive Council established the Tobago Tourism Agency Limited which has in turn collaborated with key stakeholders in the industry to develop a three year road map for growth; BE IT RESOLVED that this House suppor t the initiatives of the Division of Tourism, Culture and Transportation as well as the Tobago Tourism Agency Limited; AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this House encourage schools, communities, NGOs, CBOs, FBOs to join with the other key stakeholders in the tourism indus-
