field of Jaggged Tesselation
natural formations that mimick mountain formations and ice fields.
In nature most things grow upward toward the sky. In the cases of mountain formations this upward growth can create jagged edges. The same behavior is captured in ice fields, we want to explore this behavior.
formula for Tesselation 1. pick a starting shape or module 2. distort edges through rotation and scale 3. create different ones slightly bigger or smaller than
the one before
4. repeat, creating a gradient
experiments
These series of experiments use different modeling techniques to create pieces that have an smooth flow the next starting where the last piece left off. But with each piece emerges a new feeling of movement vertically Jagged Tesselation

operations 1. Tesselate one object 2. Copy the object 3. Begin to rotate and scale edges 4. Copy the new object up as the new piece 5. Repeat steps 1-3 6. Create relationships between each new generated piece
