Keeping your listings accurate on our website is crucial. The extranet serves as the central hub for this task. We host regular training sessions every week, alongside a comprehensive video library containing short, informative videos. These resources cover everything from updating listings and adding images to including deals and events. Ensure all your amenities and contact details are current. This ensures accurate guest referrals and enhances our service quality. Don’t miss the chance to optimize your listings and boost your visibility. The partner directory and convention calendar are also available via the extranet, under the “Reports” tab.
After you receive a welcome email with log-in information, visit www.GMCVBExtranet.com and log in. Since you are logging in for the first time, you’ll be prompted to change your password.

SOCIAL MEDIA FEATURE GUIDELINES FOR PARTNERS
Thank you for joining us in promoting Greater Miami & Miami Beach as a premier destination for leisure and meetings. Social media plays a vital role in keeping the destination top-of-mind for visitors and meeting planners – as such, we have a dedicated team to manage social media at the GMCVB.
Through the GMCVB’s Marketing Communications team, storytelling about Miami’s unique assets is prioritized across our channels. Partners can showcase their offerings and be featured across the GMCVB’s social media platforms.
Here’s how you can collaborate with us:
Option 1: Our team visits your establishment to develop unique content and reels.
Option 2: Send us b-roll, photos and content for us to utilize on our platforms. Content can be shared in many ways, such as stories, reels or static posts. Choosing how we share the content will depend on several factors, such as the type of content available and our internal social media calendar.
OPTION 1
Consider the GMCVB’s social channels for breaking news and exciting developments. Give us the breaking news, and the GMCVB will visit the establishment to develop reels and images for social media at no cost to partners. To qualify, send your pitch to SocialMedia@GMCVB.com and tell us about your storytelling idea. A few things we are looking for include:
• New openings that visitors would be interested in
• Special events
• Behind-the-scenes access
• Unique scenic views
• Exclusive interviews with chefs, celebrities and VIPs
OPTION 2
The social media team will consider posting assets (b-roll, photos, videos and content) sent to the GMCVB by partners for social amplification. Email your visual assets and pitch to SocialMedia@GMCVB.com for consideration. We tend to focus on partners who are showcasing a new hotel, restaurant or attraction (things to do in Miami). Now, let’s ensure it meets our guidelines:
• Quality Content: Please ensure that any content shared with us meets high-quality standards in terms of imagery, captions and overall presentation. Images should be clear, well-lit and showcase the unique aspects of your establishment or attraction. Photographs should be shot either in a vertical or horizontal format. Video specifically should be shot in a vertical format for us to possibly use as a reel.
• Authenticity: We value authenticity and genuine experiences. Please refrain from using overly promotional language or misleading information in your content. Highlight the unique aspects of your establishment that make it a must-visit destination for travelers.
• Tagging and Mentioning: When featuring your establishment, we will tag your official social media accounts (if applicable) to provide proper credit and enable our followers to easily find you. We encourage you to reciprocate by tagging @VisitMiami and using relevant hashtags when sharing content related to Miami on your own social media channels.
• Timeliness: Please submit content in a timely manner (a month to two-weeks notice) to ensure that we can plan and schedule posts accordingly. Consider seasonal trends and events in Greater Miami & Miami Beach when submitting content, as this can enhance engagement and relevance.
• Engagement: Engage with our posts featuring your establishment by responding to comments and interacting with our followers. This helps create a sense of community and encourages further engagement.
• Compliance: Ensure that all content shared complies with applicable laws and regulations, including copyright and intellectual property rights. Respect the privacy of your guests and obtain necessary permissions before sharing any user-generated content.
• Collaboration: We value open communication and collaboration. If you have any specific requests or ideas for collaboration, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’re here to support you in showcasing the best of Greater Miami & Miami Beach.
• Consent: By submitting content to be featured on our social media channels, partners consent to the GMCVB reposting, sharing and distributing said content across our platforms.

The GMCVB offers access to our Digital Image Library of destination photos and videos. These images can be used for non-paid placements and promotional purposes. It’s quick and simple and also features a search option. (Note: The log-in for the Digital Image Library is different than your GMCVB Extranet log-in and must be set up separately.)

• When you register, you will need to include this personalized log-in code — REP04-13 — at the top, to ensure that your request goes through the proper channels.
• Once you receive an email that your account has been approved, you can log in and submit orders to download videos and/or images.
• Please keep in mind that the b-roll footage and images are copyrighted and are to be used STRICTLY for editorial purposes. The images/footage are NOT FOR COMMERCIAL USE. If the stipulations mentioned above are disregarded, the GMCVB removes itself from any liabilities resulting from the commercial use of these assets.
• All footage/images used must include the following credit line: “Provided by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau.”
