FALL MUSIC CONCERT

BY JEREMY SAMEK

On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, Miami Country Day school showcased the musical arts.

Early Band Orchestra, Instruments, Chorus, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and 21 Hearts 1 Beat all played extraordinarily well at our fall music concert.

According to several musicians, they all thought it was an exciting time to be alive.

Jacob Miller, a Concert Band Bass Guitar player said it was “long but exciting” and that his teachers “liked the performance a lot”.

Baltazar Kaplan, a beginning instruments tuba player said “it went very well although I was nervous”.

Benjamin Gomez from Concert Band said “It was fun and the music was good”.

Ari Kleiner, also from Concert Band, stated “I had the time of my life”.

All four players did really well, along with everyone else who worked to bring home an outstanding show. Everyone worked very hard to pull this off, and they delivered.

Mr. Mofsky, Mr. Hart, Ms. Pelletier, and Ms. Alfonso worked extra hard to deliver an outstanding performance to everyone watching.

Mr. Hart was unable to attend due to an illness, so his students stepped up.
