W H Y D I D Y O U J O I N T H E M I L I TA R Y ?
I felt it was my duty to this great nation to serve in our military as my family had in the past. My brother served in the same unit, my dad served in the Navy during the Korean War, and my uncle was lost at sea in a sub during WWII. I am very proud to have served from 1982 through 1988, until an automobile accident ended my career. W H AT W A S Y O U R C A R E E R M I L I TA R Y H I G H L I G H T ?
I was the only 63-B in my unit and was responsible for making sure we had electricity for all of our recon missions. 22
