INTRODUCTION MAZHER HUSSAIN ABDUL GHANI I had born on August 7, 1986 in a small village named Kotali Khokhran, district Sialkot, Pakistan. That pastoral background granted me vivid imaginations, great sensation to appeal love poetry and an attempt to express a philosophy of mysticism and romance. In early days of life I fell in love with nature and the natural aspects in surroundings. The sensation of love tempted me to read literature after school. Finally, I earned my master degree in English literature from the University of Punjab, Lahore. My father's death in early phase of life had a profound effect on life. So, in early age learned lessons from life. But the grace of Almighty was there to grandeur love into my soul to see the beauty. Love of mother and siblings was a great support to continue with the pace of life and meet the challenges.

Love for poetry was always there in my heart, but I started my poetical journey in my college days, I was ambitious to dwell deep into the seas of mysticism and romance and pen the verses of love. There are many intellectual personalities who inspired me and helped me in this long journey of publishing my first poetry book "Enchanting Verses of Love". First of all, I would like to thank my family and friends who were always there to support me. My mother's prayers and support is a blessing to me. My niece, a wise and intellectual figure in early age, who is in the final years of her medical studies, my wife, brothers, sisters and rest of the family members. My friends Rizwan Nini, Zaheer Abbas, Gulzar Ahmad, Qamar Hussain, Shahzaib, Natish, Wajid and Natiq Hussain specially Mr. Johnny who helped me a lot to accomplish this task. I am grateful to Dr. Seema Devi Ji from India, a poet, an artist, and a spiritual healer, who started this journey with me and remained a vital source of poetic inspiration. Lastly, I am thankful to Mrs. Feliz Ruiz from Philippine who is a great motivator in poetry field, and she always encourages my positive approach to poetry. Special thanks to Dr. Ray Lindley for his motivation.

PREFACE Mazher Hussain is a poet, councilor and a guide more than a teacher has portrayed words on the canvass of love with the ink of romance in his poems. His poetry presents beautiful mystic pictures and ever-flowing language of expression. He creates a world where he can express his feelings and emotions freely in words. It is not just love, experience, life and nature. It is the wholeness. It is beyond words, and just like art, where he paints the imaginary pictures of emotions on the canvas of life, words dance in the open sky of love. His poetic aura is filled with rhythms and ideas. One can easily flow in the rhythmic flow of his poetry, because it satisfies our soul, heart, and mind. His inspiration of poetry writing is like the great souls of poetic sensation Rumi, Hafiz, Wordsworth, and Keats. His soul is creative and creates the magic of words, as a poet he is an inspiration to others. To him poetry is a divine gift to this world that takes the readers into another world of

trance and beauty. He believes that the existing world around us tempts our souls to compose the verses to glorify Nature and its objects. The hummingbirds, echo of the wind, the music of flowing water in rivers, the noise of the sea tides, the eloquence of the night, the musk of flowers, the sunrise and the sunset and the serenity of the soul all have their own charms and divine music to tempt our mind to adore the Nature with beautiful words. While this world is filled with business and politics, Mazher’s poetry adds the beautiful essence of romance to life. Everything what he sees is a poetry to him, as a poet he believe in it. ‘Enchanting Verses of Love’ plants seeds of compassion, prayers of peace, sunflowers of passion, aroma of sacred emotions, trees of happiness to console the purity of mind. This poetic sensation creates a world of enchanting dreams where words turn into charming rainbow that colors butterflies. Enchanting verses blend thoughts and transcend a reader to sweet pleasures. Enchanting verses rejuvenate and help to fight against the pain and strife, and enchant the soul with the fragrances of life.

FOREWORD Mazher Hussain (Haraeen) is a poet of his own unique dimensions. His poetic sensation is very different from other poets. His poetry inspires me and many others as we read his enchanting poems. ‘Enchanting Verses of Love’ is his first book, I am honored to review it, I loved the way he uses his imaginations and creates a world of beauty in words. His words portray a picture of love on the blank canvass of reality as well as imaginations. His poems “ A Prayer for Peace”, “ Mighty Season of Love” and “Ecstasy” are profound and unique in their own style and diction. In his poetry, there is a divine connection, spiritual harmony, and peace for the souls. His approach to the nature and natural aspects is supreme, the way he uses metaphors and imagery is truly amazing. In his poetry love is the basic theme, lovers hold the hands of imaginations and travel to the mirage of eternity. Mazher has also composed short

Spiritual Journey I have been to the distant lands I made spiritual journeys Been to the temples of inspiration To eat the food of knowledge Wandered in the spheres Of emptiness, singleness and liberation Like a lonely bird in the sky Then you hold my hand In the open expanse of love Took me to the mirage of eternity Above the clouds to tranquil my sensation And purge my soul I bathed in an unpolluted lake I wore the garments of light And saw the miraculous figures On the mystic curtain of the world You lit the fire to enlighten my heart

Enchanting Verses of Love I saw the splendor from the eyes of soul And the work of eternity on the white canvas The sun itself faded, illuminated the heart of the universe The entire cosmos turned into a Sea Light of love rose up from the breasts of the earth Songs of joy began Lovers danced in the night Angels or mortal beings? In the clear moonlight Imagery so divine, so beautiful The mirror set before our eyes We saw the unseen and merged in intimacy We breathe in oneness The meaning of our unity And the purpose of the spiritual journey Concealed when I reached there to attain the ultimate desire of joy.

Devotee I live in your presence The moon-filled window of your soul invites stars Set my mind free and let me dwell into the stream of imaginations Let me see the holy mounts, sacred hills and visit divine temples Let my sensation dwell deep into your vision, hearing the music of flowing streams See the illusions and solve the mysteries Each molecule of my being chants the divine hymns Like a Sufi soul on the divine pilgrimage Thy presence soothes my mind There is no pain that harass me anymore I abide in the sanctuary of enlightenment Each moment engulfs compassion, and bears the fruits of eternity

A Prayer for Peace All glory to you, O omnipotent, to you alone, the most high Give us light, ray of peace and purity from the generous skies and great splendor We, children of earth are being tossed among the squalls and gales The wind of pride and jealousy blows us to the rocks of tribulation O beloved God, protect us, as we find no other shelter for peace We are sickened by the dangers of wars and terror The loathsomeness of sadness and despair deprived our souls We mortal human beings can't escape from the fears of sins and death O divine Master, bless us the showers of peace from thy infinite blessings

The heart of mother earth is dried, it quenches the thirst from our bloodshed Innocent souls are burned stupefied, dying with thirst, hunger and pain Some are weakly whimpered until they left bled to meet the death O, The Mightiest, earthly souls are longing for the splendor to annihilate their insubstantial state Peace and love are your traits, lit that fire to burn the heart of the universe Assail these countless groans to skies, and shower the rain of happiness Shed away this moonless night, and open the bright light to ignite our inner core O the Compassionate, the most Merciful, You are the Ruler of the judgment day It's you that we worship, and to you we appeal for help, show the right way that leads to glory O the Sacred one, teach us love, compassion and honor Heal the wounded earth, and bless us that pure soul to heal each other O the holy One, fulfill our desires to see the peace, love and contentment

Morning song As the balmy sunlight warms the bodies of buds, and excites them to bloom with passion a desire wearing the dress of ecstasy aroused from the inner core of my soul, and secretly transforms into a deep passion. Garden of my heart perfumed these newly born emotions and I sing the song of you and I, yes We Are, I love us with every breath, every particle of our being is inseparable. I dance in this divine symphony of togetherness, and I color myself in colors of divine harmony.

Human Soul You human soul, you made up of a divine spirit. This spirit is not easily satisfied. Your creation is not ordinary you storm the firmament and scales the heavens. You yearn for the spirit of energy that Spirit drives heavens. Everything in the world grows green flourishes and attains the nourishment yet your soul is never satisfied. It presses on deeper and deeper into the vortex further and further into the whirlpool, the primary source in which the Spirit has its origin.

Painted in every form and color to decorate the moment Images of sentiments are inscribed on the stars In love they taste every flavor that proclaims their hunger Lovers lay on the bed of roses and forget their beings Caress and fondle the spirit of the holy bliss Love take them to the sanctuary of unseen murmurs They drink the droplets of mesmerizing dew And float in the bottomless tides of ecstatic pleasures Lovers play hide and seek in the caves of black night Shimmer under the purple tents in deep peace Like they drank the wine vault of love Breeding life, converging and nourishing the Jasmine flowers Then love surrenders in the arms of lovers, melt them in the purgatory pot Empowering the glow of this mystic fusion and divine reunion In the profound glow of full moon tranquility Lovers made this transformation From emptiness to fulfillment.
