SECURITY AND AFTER HOURS ACCESS Adelaide High School is a very busy site with a number of organisations accessing the site after hours. If you need to come to school out of school hours please make sure you have access with keys and a security card that will operate locks out of regular hours. Please see the Business Manager or Facilities Manager to confirm if you have after hours access rights. You will also need a security code to be able to arm and unarm the security system and be able to operate the security system confidently to avoid unnecessary security call outs by Police Security. Call outs are expensive and a cost the school must pay that we do not budget for. On arrival at school after hours prior to entry to the building you must call Police Security and advise them that you will be on site and what area you will be working in. When you leave you must also call Police Security to let them know that you are leaving and will be alarming the area you were in. You must also be aware of who else may be on site and working in your area. Please keep all entry/exit doors locked to avoid unauthorised entry out of hours. It is important that you are aware of the potential for other groups to be on site. Please note that the alarm system is silent and you may not be aware that you have set off an alarm.

CCTV – Video Surveillance Video surveillance is installed in many areas of the school for the purpose of maintaining a safe site.

Staff in School After Hours Any staff member wishing to be in school after hours must follow security procedures. If unsure, see the Business Manager regarding the procedure to be followed.
