Last week, Chancellor Michael Harris spoke to students, faculty, and staff in Alumni Hall to celebrate the recordbreaking number of students. “We did it, record enrollment of 3,719 students, which is historic,” he said. “It is against all odds. It is against the demographics. It is against the trajectory, and it’s because we believe and work extremely hard with immense belief toward our goals.” More academic programs, increases in financial aid, state-of-the-art facilities, innovative advising structure, a growing campus life, and affordable tuition are all reasons Harris attributes to the growing number of students, as well as hard work from everyone at IU Kokomo.
