Michael J Blom a.k.a DJ miXim began expressing an interest in music as an expression of emotion and a tool of communication in 1983. Cultivation of the skills of mixing and scratching became the focal point of the first phase of development of his mission. In 1990 miXim, having only 2 years prior derived his DJ name from the compilation of sounds called the "mix" and the manipulation of the word as an audible expression of the format, in the form of scratching or editing the sound to play forwards and backwards, was introduced to the Lord and opened his heart to accept the love of his creator and obtain the blessing needed to affirm his identity and move into the purpose to which he had been motivated to follow. Over the next few years heartbreaks and trials of many sorts would attempt to infiltrate the mind of miXim in the hopes of derailing the master purpose which was intended from the beginning.
