MSC Foundation
The MSC Foundation and its community partners have a phenomenal reason to celebrate because of you! The Foundation exceeded $1 million in grant distributions in 2021, representing cumulative donations since its 2011 inception. $85,052 from the most recent grant period marks the largest distribution in any grant cycle and benefits non-profit organizations throughout Manatee, Sarasota and Charlotte counties. The total amount given by the MSC Foundation is $1,042,430, which exceeds the initial goal set to commemorate its 10th anniversary. Contributions from the generosity of our Sales Associates and employees made this milestone possible. The selected 501c3 organizations fulfill the Foundation’s mission to improve lives by providing funds to organizations offering shelter, sustenance, education and a path to self-sufficiency.
“It is a proud moment for The MSC Foundation and for Michael Saunders & Company Sales Associates and staff who contributed to this record-breaking grant cycle,” said company president, Drayton Saunders, and the Vice President of the Foundation. “We are thankful for our team of Associates and staff who give both time and resources to the communities we serve on the Gulf Coast.”
Since its launch, the MSC Foundation has provided grant distribution funds to 227 organizations across Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte and Lee counties. Sales Associates and employees may make contributions through their salary, sales commission or one-time donations during each cycle. Contributors may sponsor grant applications to the Foundation council. Below is a sampling of the organizations who benefit from the latest grant cycle: · Boys and Girls Club of Sarasota County · Manasota Operation Troop Support · Just for Girls/Manatee County Girls Club, Inc. · Englewood Helping Hand, Inc. · Sertoma Club of Venice
