Good morning, everyone--

The fall 2024 Louisiana CAEP Consortium gathering will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Nicholls State University. The gathering will begin at 10 a.m. and conclude by 4 p.m. Specific location and parking details will be provided later.

This gathering will focus on common measures. The morning session will be a data review of the recent completer and employer survey cycle; the afternoon session will be a working meeting to create the dispositional common measure.

Recently, some peers have asked if any EPP could participate in the common measures' work. The answer is absolutely yes, and please do! If you are not currently participating but are interested, join us in Thibodaux to learn about the measures and the protocols in place for deploying the surveys, collecting data, and reporting results.

MEASURE DATA SUBMISSION

The completer and employer survey data submission deadline is extended to October 15. For data submission details, please see Section 2 of the Technical Guide.

A Google account is required to use the file upload function. On the submission form, please identify the email address to use for communication with you even if that is not the Gmail address associated with the Google account you use to upload the file.

DISPOSITIONAL ASSESSMENT SAMPLES

The next common measure will be a dispositional assessment. Development will follow the same protocol as for the completer and employer surveys, and that protocol begins with reviewing assessments currently in use. This work began at the spring 2024 gathering with submissions from Louisiana State University, Louisiana Tech University, and the University of Louisiana - Monroe. If you want to share one or more dispositional assessments currently in use at your EPP, please click here to submit the file(s).
