Form: "MEDSL - Assessment of Professional Dispositions" * = Response is required
School/Educational Leadership Disposition Assessment Each student will do a self-assessment of dispositions for educational/ school leadership, two times during their program. The student will also be assessed on the same items by the faculty member, field advisor, or dissertation advisor. The rating scale is below. A commensurate form will be completed by the faculty. • The areas in which the student demonstrates a need for improvement should be included in the initial review and discussed in subsequent reviews. • Items or areas in which a student scores a “1” should be discussed with the faculty rater who would suggest actions for improvement. • A significant discrepancy between student/faculty ratings should be discussed by the student and faculty member. If they cannot reach agreement, the program chair should become involved in the discussion. NOTE: This form is used for candidates in programs addressing administrative/support personnel. Items are matched with the College of Education Conceptual Framework as well as ELCC Standards when appropriate. The results are confidential and WilmU will not use the information in a negative way. We encourage you to be honest and reflective in your responses.
