Michele Spatari

Michele Spatari is an Architecture and Urban planning graduate (University of Ferrara, 2016) and a freelance photographer. He was born in Bologna, Italy in 1991. He is currently based in Lisboa, Portugal after being in Beirut, Buenos Aires and Bordeaux. He finished his M.Arch studies at the Ferrara Architecture University developing a master thesis on the role of public and collective spaces in divided post-conflict cities, with a major focus on Beirut, Lebanon. Coherently with this background, his photography work is concentrated on the study of bodies and space: how politics, religions and social rituals affect and shape contemporary cities and urban societies.
