First produced in 1979 by the Michigan Department of Agriculture, the purpose of this directory is to support Michigan farmers by attracting visitors to farms across the state. Since 2008, Michigan Agritourism has been producing the directory showcasing the amazing and diverse agricultural experiences. What has become an important tool in support of local farmers has also become an incredible tool for our community members, and especially our children, to discover, experience and learn.

Located on the Garden Peninsula, the farm dates back to the early 1900s when it supplied materials to the bustling Fayette townsite. Today, the farm store is open seven days a week and offers homegrown produce, farm-fresh eggs, and locally raised beef. The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market is the Upper Peninsula’s largest market open mid-May through mid-December.
