Midland Stone Centre was founded in 2005 after two families combined forces to create a user-friendly, professional company capable of meeting the demands of supplying finished stone in the 21st Century.
Customer focused approach
We have specialist in-house staff for each area of the business and place great value on providing first class service and communication for each job from quotation through to install. We invest in ongoing development in the workplace and have a purpose-built training centre which is set up to allow our site staff to understand and overcome the unique industry challenges in a ‘dry’ setting.
We constantly track our first-time right percentage and view every failure as a genuine opportunity to learn, helping us focus on both increasing our success rate and providing a fast effective response when we fall short of our goal.
Our estimating team work hard to return standard quotations the same day if received before 3pm. Quotations that require external information such as jobs including non-stock materials, steel frame supports or more complicated designs may take longer.

Modern fabrication techniques
Our production facility is truly state of the art, with constant investment in our automated production line enabling us to produce to the highest-level time after time. We work closely with our suppliers to develop new machinery that further pushes our capabilities forward.
Our combined experiences give us the unique ability to identify the best suppliers for all manner of materials, be it Quartz, Porcelain or natural stone. We happily invest time and money, visiting key suppliers to fully understand their capabilities and how best to apply them.
Recent global developments have created new challenges for the KBB industry, most notably in the supply chain. We recognised this problem early and worked hard to make sure we were well stocked with key materials. Our UK stock is the highest it has ever been with buffers doubled to meet supply demands, now is not the time for just-in-time production methods.

Midland Stone Centre are the exclusive fabricator for Konigstone, delivering high quality Quartz and natural stone surfaces for modem living. Their KönigQuartz range won ‘Best Kitchen Surface’ in the 2021 Ideal Home Kitchen Awards. Quartz surfaces also have a 15-year warranty and NSF certification.
We offer great support for our Konigstone dealers with a range of marketing materials including sample display stands and provide consumer referrals to our dealers, generated by Konigstone social media channels, website and print advertising.

We have created a high-end outdoor kitchen range which combines stylish sintered stone cabinetry with materials of proven durability to provide a sophisticated outdoor space to cook and entertain. Each KonigOutdoor kitchen is made-to-order, allowing you to select most of the design options you would find with an indoor kitchen; manufactured to the very highest specification and able to withstand the elements.
