Rhubarb designs and manufactures seating for every non-domestic environment.
Our approach is founded on core principles which have the needs and interests of our customers at their heart:
Delivering what your project needs: we manufacture every product ourselves, NO element is sub-contracted, and all our soft seating is designed in-house. That means that if our standard products are not quite what is needed, we will create something from scratch or change the dimensions to fit, whether that is a single unit or several hundreds.
Flexibility:
• Lead times – if you really need it in a hurry we can usually help
• Delivery schedules – we know projects do not always go to plan so we will be here to work with you to flex arrangements
• Support – whatever you need we will do our utmost to accommodate it, from product modification to warehousing for stock that can’t be delivered to site
• Advice – on fabrics, foams, product construction to make sure you and your clients get the best solutions
Space planning: we are able to provide full space planning services where they will add value

Rhubarb has a large range of modular seating units to permit multiple different configurations and enable the use of any space to be maximised. Because we manufacture everything ourselves, we are also able to change the dimensions of any unit to fit either specific design requirements or room measurements. As with all our soft seating, our modular units are designed and manufactured at our factory in Oxfordshire using FSC© certified timber and high density CMHR Crib 5 foams.

Rhubarb manufactures some of the best bariatric seating available, enabling all organisations to fulfil their obligation to provide equipment for their employees that is fit for purpose and allows them to undertake their work safely.
Both the swivel and 4-leg bariatric chair are certified to accommodate weights up to 50 stone.
For those who work in call centres and other 24/7 environments, specialised seating is required. Rhubarb’s range of 24/7 chairs has been tested for 24-hour use and is specifically designed to deliver the comfort and support needed to meet those demands.
For 24-hour use, we ONLY recommend 24-hour rated fabrics. Chairs supplied in alternative fabric will not be covered by our warranty.
