the munglers are back! Join Story Lab at any Nottingham City Council Library between Monday 16 July and Saturday 1 September and look out for special events in your local library including stories, crafts and activities. Read books and exchange them for rewards any time your local library is open. Many libraries will have volunteers to help encourage you with the Challenge, help you choose books and chat with you about what you have read. All children who complete the Challenge and read 6 books will get a special medal and certificate. Many libraries will have medal ceremonies and celebrations – look out for details in your local library. Challenge the adults in your family to read alongside you this summer! They can take part in the 6 book challenge and win some rewards of their own! Look out for information in your local library.

Don’t forget - your library is here for you throughout the year! Libraries have lots of books, comics and magazines for children and lots of fun things to do: It’s free to join your library and you are never too young or old! Look out for Totstimes, story times and special events, after school and in the holidays Stories in books and on audio CDs for children of all ages Books about hobbies and interests, from insects to space, animals to football Help with homework – library staff will help you find books and websites. Some libraries have Homework Clubs – see the library website for details of one near you
