Midas Touch is the Southern Costa Blanca's first, dedicated monthly, eMagazine, reaching out to more than a quartermillion International residents and visitors to the White Coast.
Over the last twenty years we've seen a huge variety of magazines, newspapers, voucher books, newspapers and more, being published in the region. Almost everyone publishes an electronic version of their publication but it's nothing more than a digital version of their printed copy. These are usually not the easiest to read on a mobile phone, tablet or anything other than a large screen. Welcome to The Midas Touch, the only local English Language magazine designed to be read easily on your computer, TV, smart phone or tablet. Just a touch of your finger away.

Write for The Midas Touch Would you like to write for The Midas Touch? The Midas Touch seeks fresh and invigorating material on any subject that may be of interest to our readers. FEATURES We are looking for well-written material about Spain and especially the Costa Blanca, or about your specialist subject.. This includes experiences, observations, travel, history, art, culture, lifestyle and everyday life. Word count: the preferred length for features is 350-700 words. There must be enough room for good accompanying photographs illustrating the feature articles, which will in turn mean the feature is far more likely to be published. Contributors wil be credited and provided with a quarter page size advert to promote themselves or a business venture/sponsor, etc... There is not any payment or conta deal for articles of a commercial nature – and supporting paid advertising will usually be required. PHOTOS All photos MUST be accompanied by a simple model release form, if the photo features someone posing for the camera. Please do not submit photos that you did not take yourself or obtain as royalty and copyright free. Images must be 300dpi and ideally at least 2,000 pixels wide on the shortest side. Clubs and Associations It's hard to believe but there are probably more than 300 clubs, associations, sports teams, hobbyists, societies, performance groups, choirs, NGOs, fundraisers, nonprofits, religious organisations, etc on the Southern Costa Blanca. Trying to find one or more of interest can be a daunting task, especially for visitors and new residents. A definitive list of all the Clubs and Associations has never been produced. Some are official Associations and, registered with Alicante as such, while others could just be a group of friends, who enjoy going for lunch every week. The Midas Touch offers ALL clubs and associations in the region a free listing in The Midas Touch magazine, our website, and other associated websites, plus a future special 'Clubs and Associations' edition of The Midas Touch. We have plans for a dedicated sister site, www.Torrevieja.club, which will also be an easy place to find details of all local clubs in the Torrevieja city and region. The region's premier International Lifestyle Show, Expo Torrevieja also features a biannual Expo in Torrevieja's International Auditorium. Each Expo features a special zone just for Clubs and Associations. Everyone that wishes to attend the Expo and promote themselves to more than 8,000 visitors may do so for free. Rock Against Cancer The Midas Touch team all support Rock Against Cancer. From a first event organised in June 2009 by Munroe's Pub owner Neil Waytt, the Torrevieja based event has gone from strength to strength over the past decade. 2019 marks both the tenth anniversary of Rock Against Cancer and the 30th Anniversary of Monroe's Pub. Thus the event is going to a two-day weekend event for 2019 and the team at Midas Touch will be both promoting this fun weekend and publishing updates every month. We will also be producing a very special Rock Against Cancer edition of The Midas Touch in June 2019 to coincide with our two concert days of June 15 and 16, Our Goal is to have as many pubs, cafes, clubs, associations, etc, all put on one event for Rock Against Cancer so that we can continue to raise funds and awareness for the fight against cancer and research for a cure. Since we have other publications in the UK, we also support Cancer Research UK and other cancer causes throughout Europe. By taking out an advert in The Midas Touch or our printed paper, The Local Touch, joining us at Expo Torrevieja, or planning your own fundraising event, you can help us achieve so much more than any one entity. Together we are stronger in looking for a cure for cancer plus helping to spread the message of awareness and the importance of testing for everyone.
