Wilmington - The Chase Center on the Riverfront has hired Keith Davis as their new Food & Beverage Director.

MARYLAND

Owings Mills – Marriott Owings Mills Metro Centre has appointed Bernard Smith as Executive Chef. The property, which opened in October, will feature The Tillery - an upscale full-service restaurant. Bernard is responsible for conceptualizing and creating its menu, crafting the culinary experience, and overseeing staff and all food and beverage operations.

Boston - The Boston Convention Marketing Center announced the addition of three industry veterans to their teams: David Taylor, Director, Hotel Relations and Services; Neil Schriever, Senior Director, Sales and Industry Relations; and Jessica Parr, Citywide Sales Manager.

NEW JERSEY

Atlantic City - Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City welcomed industry veteran Donna Ward to the role of Vice President of Sales overseeing the resort’s hotel sales operations including meetings and conventions. Prior to joining Hard Rock Atlantic City Donna spent more than 35 years in sales roles throughout Atlantic City including at Harrah’s, the former Trump Organization, Resorts Casino Hotel, and most recently as VP of Sales, Catering and Convention Services for Golden Nugget. Donna currently serves as Chair for the Miss America pageant Board of Trustees.

PENNSYLVANIA

Bethlehem - Alyssa Lippincott has been promoted to Director of Sales for Wind Creek Bethlehem, while Rebecca Kim has been hired as Sales Manager, and Mindy Grote as National Sales Manager.

Havertown - Anne Madden has been hired by Sonesta Hotels as Global Account Director focusing on pharmaceutical, financial and the insurance markets.

Huntingdon Valley - Mid-Atlantic Events Magazine has promoted Jennifer Johnson to General Manager/Events Director.

King of Prussia - Valley Forge Casino Resort announced the appointment of Chef Theodore Iwachiw as Executive Chef for all food and beverage operations. Chef Iwachiw will be tasked with revamping food and beverage operations at Revolution Chophouse, Valley Tavern and Valley Forge Casino Resort’s food court offerings.

Lancaster - The Cork Factory Hotel has hired Susan Corrigan as their new Director of Sales and Operations. Philadelphia - Christie Jones has been named Corporate and Group Events Manager for the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum.

Philadelphia - Lauren Pasquini has been named the new complex Director of Catering for the Philadelphia Marriott Old City and the Renaissance Philadelphia.

Philadelphia - Daniel Briones has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hyatt Centric Center City Philadelphia.

Philadelphia - Brian Lang has been promoted to General Manager at The Bellevue Hotel.

Philadelphia - The Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau (PHL CVB) appointed Maria Grasso as Senior Vice President, Convention Division. Maria will lead the convention sales and services team in growing convention bookings. Most recently, she served as vice president of sales and convention services for the PHL CVB. The PHL CVB also has named Chelsea Ann Rovnan as Content Coordinator, John Ryan as Social Media Specialist, Melissa McClure as Global Tourism Sales Manager, and Jaime Martorana as Communications Manager. Jaime will be spearheading the organization’s domestic public relations efforts and day-to-day PR operations. Prior to joining the PHL CVB, Jaime served as public relations manager for ASTM International and public relations specialist for Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site.

Philadelphia - ASM Global announced the addition of Jude-Anne Spencer-Phillip to the team at the Pennsylvania Convention Center as Senior Communications Manager. Jude-Anne had previously worked with local non-profits, the City of Philadelphia, and the Trinidad and Tobago Tourism Development Company. Philadelphia - Michael Mitloff has joined Seravezza Events, the new catering brand at the Franklin Institute, as Director of Catering.

Philadelphia - Nina Rodebaugh has taken the role at the Kimmel Cultural Campus as Director of Institutional Marketing.

Wayne - Fearless Restaurants has promoted Christina Wilson to Sales and Events Manager for its Autograph restaurant.

West Chester - Advanced Staging Productions announced the appointment of Ryan McLaughlin as President. In his new position, Ryan will oversee all Operations, Production and Sales and Marketing for the company. VIRGINIA
