Local Environmental Plan 2014. The objectives of the E2 - Environmental Conservation zone are: • To protect, manage and restore areas of high ecological, scientific, cultural or aesthetic values. • To prevent development that could destroy, damage or otherwise have an adverse effect on those values. The objectives of the E3 – Environmental Management zone have been discussed previously in Section 2.3.3. The remainder of the camp is located on land zoned RU5 –Village. The objectives of this zone are: • To provide for a range of land uses, services and facilities that are associated with a rural village. • To provide for a range of land uses, services and facilities that are associated with a coastal village. • To enable non-residential development that does not prejudice the established land use pattern within the village. These three zonings are the main zones on land within 300 m of the camp.
