Implementation of the Statement

This Statement communicates the long-term land use strategy for the MidCoast, through the identification of planning priorities and actions for implementation.

The delivery of the MidCoast LEP and DCP will help realise the future land use vision for our region, alongside strategies and plans being developed that provide strategic direction for our region. The Statement provides a framework for the coordinated action of partners to deliver and realise our vision. Council will continue to establish effective partnerships with our community, the NSW Government and other organisations to support the implementation. It is important to note that the delivery of some actions outlined in this document will be subject to funding and incorporation in the Delivery Program and Operational Plan.
