YOUTH STORY WORKSHOP
November 2, 9, 16 & 30 • 1:30 PM West Chester • Storytime Room At our family workshops, kids ages 3 and up and their grown-ups will learn valuable storytelling and early literacy skills, hear a book and have a chance to tell their own stories!
ABC CLUB
Nov. 3, 10 & 17 • 10:15 AM & 1:30 PM West Chester • Storytime Room Welcome to the ABC Club! Children ages 3-5 and their grown ups will explore the alphabet (numbers and colors, too!) through books and related activities.
IMAGINE THAT...YOU ARE A COOK
November 3 • 10:30 AM Middletown • Storytime Room In this Kindergarten prep program, children ages 4-5 will learn to work together to meet a common goal. This month we will follow directions to prepare a pretend meal for the library’s stuffed animals.
FAMILY BINGO
November 6 • 2:00 PM West Chester • Community Room A/B Families are invited to play bingo for new and gently used books. Book prizes will be available for children who are pre-school through sixth grade.

November 6 • 3:30 PM Middletown • Community Room We are excited to partner with the Middletown Youth Coalition on the Family Meal Movement campaign and explore slow cooker meals at this event!

November 13 • 2:00 PM Middletown • Community Room Wouldn’t it be fun to build your own creation? We provide the materials and opportunity to develop your creative and scientific mind; you bring your ideas and creativity. And you get to take home everything you build!
November 17 • 10:30 AM Middletown • Storytime Room Let’s make some art together! Children will practice using basic craft tools (glue sticks, safety scissors, crayons) and they will take home a completed project.
November 22 • 2:00 PM Trenton • Community Room Each child will make a special keepsake craft to take home. Space limited to first 20 participants.
November 24 • 10:30 AM Middletown • Storytime Room Let’s travel the world without leaving the library! This month we’re learning about Korea; how kids play, speak, dress, eat, and more. In this hands-on program we will learn how alike we all are, despite our differences.
CREATIVE FOR A CAUSE— DECORATE THE GIVING TREE
November 27 • 10:30 AM West Chester • Community Room A/B Have fun decorating a Christmas tree that will benefit animals at our local shelter. You can make a difference to our homeless furry friends. This event is for school age children.

November 10 • 1:00 PM West Chester • Board Room Looking to de-stress? Twisty Tangles is based on Zentangle ©, a meditative practice that involves drawing patterns. It promotes creativity, focus and calm. We’ll teach you the basics and present new patterns each session. Your completed project will look like a work of art!
