collaborating with strategic partners guarantees a powerful solution. One such opportunity presented itself in 2005 when Midway submitted a proposal to Texas A&M University for a site adjacent to the campus. We were awarded the project in 2006 and began developing site plans in 2008. In 2014, Midway broke ground on Century Square, the 60 acre site that will serve as a central gathering place for the local community and the region. “We’ve long hoped for an opportunity to have an exciting new destination for visitors to Texas A&M and the Brazos Valley,” says John Sharp, Texas A&M University System Chancellor. “Through this partnership with Midway, we have created something truly special for our Brazos Valley family, and the University is proud to play a part in Century Square’s development.”
