Our honeymoon cross country bike trip in 1982 -was self supported for 55 days. Our next cross country trip was 25 years later and was van supported in 35 days. Finally we did an EBike trip this year that was 45 days on the Southern Tier bike route. We will compare differences and similarities in trips and offer suggestions and tips. Our trip in 1982 was quite different from our trip in 2022. Our son biked across in 21 days and we supported him. We have also biked all around the USA and Europe.

The Minnesota Chapter of American Pilgrims on the Camino will present a Camino 101 presentation for anyone interested in planning a hike in Spain on the Camino de Santiago in 2023 or in a future year. This presentation covers all the basics of planning for the Camino and a day in the life of a hike on this spectacular trail! Bring all your questions for our veteran hikers to answer. We will have people talk about their recent experiences on the Camino de Santiago.

Polly Scotland’s presentation, “The Annapurna Loop of Nepal” is the first of 21 stories from her book, “The Adventurer & Her Husband.” This arduous 14-day trek begins at an elevation of 2,755 feet and climbs over the Thorung La Pass at 17,700 feet.
