Farhad Vladi is a German businessman with Canadian citizenship. He is best-known as founder and owner of the company Vladi Private Islands GmbH (founded in Hamburg, Germany in 1971), which is the world's leading island brokerage company. Since establishing VPI, he has sold over 2,000 islands, island-related properties and island shares around the world and has rented out a vast range of private island resorts worldwide. Over the years, Farhad Vladi has assembled an extensive and impressive archive covering over 12,000 islands all over the world - probably the world's largest archive on privately-owned islands. His experience in the business makes Farhad Vladi a competent and widely-recognised leader in the sale of private islands. He has been accepted as an expert witness on private island matters in the Courts of the United States and Canada and has also appraised islands for the Irish Government and for many other private parties.
