Eleven of Indonesia’s leading contemporary artists show works ranging from painting, sculpture, installation and new media.
Crossing Contemporary Cultures includes artworks covering topics such as media and consumerism, women’s struggles after childbirth and questions about our sense of identity and community. These themes are universal and can be understood by all cultures, and it is fitting that the show will take place in one of Australia’s most multicultural cities- Melbourne.
