M
ost have heard the proverb “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade” which suggests we should strive to make the best out of a bad situation. Clearly, members and management at Meadowbrook Country Club (MCC) chose to make a lemonade stand from their misfortune. Misfortune number 1 was the application of the very effective broadleaf herbicide aminocyclopyrachlor (Imprelis) in 2010 which led to significant tree damage/death and an eventual settlement of over 2 million dollars.
