I think these two edits worked out best and also compliment eachothers colours that is why i have chosen to present them next to one another.
Although this Foord response is a very plain image i still think it works well inresponse to his photography because it focuses alot on colour and that is something forrd is well known for. Also the bright vintage blue in this image is actually tyhe main focal point of the overall image making it again similar to Foord’s work as often he will try and draw the eye toward colour making that the main focal point of his photography. One reason why I like this image despite it being rather plane is because i think it gives a slightly more abstract and comtemporary trist onto Foords work compared to having
a busy image.
Although this Foord inspired image is quite plain i think it captures the idea of relationships between object and space well as a third of this image is white which emphasis the main focual point of this photograph and the subtle colours i also like this image because i think it carries a neat and refined look as the lamp is positioned in rule of thirds
I particularly like this Forrd inspired edit as i think it responds well to his vintage style through the similar colour schemes and composition. I also think this image works well as the main focal point of the image takes up majoritity of the photograph which again is something Forrd commonly does in his own photography.
This image is another good example at displaying the relationship between object and space as the pale blue paint focuses the eye toward the black bolt.

I think these two edits are my favourite out of all my Gamma set as not only do they represent her work well but whe presented together they compliment each thers compositions and colours creating good general presentation.

In comparison to my other Gamma edits this particular one contains much more subtle and darker tones which i feel helps emphasis the darker parts of the photograph like the fence and trees along the bottom. i also think these much more muted tones help display the relationship i my photograph.
I like the way that this Gamma inspired photograph shows the relationship between object and space as if you look closely nearly all of my object (the building) is positioned to one side of the landscape image.
These two images are probably my favourite marchand images and ones that have inspired me most throughout my shoots and responses
I edited this image by simply increasing the brightness and contrast in order to create a much brighter image in comparison to some of my other Marchand edits that i have produced.
I found editing and adjusting the brightness and contrast to be very helpful in my mission to try and emphasise the relationship between object and space through my Marchand photography.
This particular image is one of my favourite edits as i think not only does it show a clear relationship but the main focal point of the imahe is also very obvious.

I wanted to produce a floral terzieva inspired photo shoot as well as a mountain/landscape shoot to allow to experiemtn more with colour and editing. I was also keen to have two seperate shoots so i can compare my edits and see which sort of images will work best when editing in the terzieva style.
I think these two flower edits turned out really well as the bright pinks and whites compliment eachother through the stripped affect. Because of this I think my floral edits where more sucessful.
I like these two particular images as i feel they both have good image compositions which allow whoever is looking at the photograph to focus on the main focal point of the overall photograph.

It was important to me to keep these edits very minimal as i want to apply paint over the top so my edits are simply acting as a paint base

I wanted to create some very basic paint edits in order to allow me to see what sort of colours work well and also fitted with the Hanninen paint look. Because my images contained quite pale colours it was important to ensure the colours of my paint didnt overpower the colours in the initial image so i mixed alot of them with white to dull the colour and keep it coordinating with the colours present in my photograph.
I did however experiment with some darker pinks as although its darker pink works well in conjuction with white and white backgrounds therefore this particular photograph allowed me to use a stronger colour
since researching Mark Dorf and researching and responding to Nana Hannien i decided i wanted to produce a combination photo shoot for my final piece that would allow me to put together a range of ideas and techniques i liked.
I combined elements from Dorf and hanninen for my final shoot to give me a wider scope of inspiration and more material to work with for my edits.
I wanted to producse a set of st moved onto combining my Dorf and gether in order to see what edit work well with my photographs.

SIMPLE EDIT FINDINGS
Overall my simple edits have shown me that contrast and brightness is important, also using the curves and levels tools on photoshop worked well in enhancing my images. However harsher and more distorting techniques such as using black and white dosent work for my photography as i think it takes the eye away from the masin focal point of the image as you cant focus on the bright colours of the flowers.
After having success with using pink paint in my urban Hanninen inspired edits I wanted to experiment further with the colour on this initial Dorf and Hanninen combined edit, i chose a darker image and one containing the colour pink for this as i already know the colour will work well on my paler images especially ones containing white or with white backgrounds
MARK DORF AND NANA HANNINEN COMBINED EDITS

I found my edits to be alot more succesful by combining two images the same size creating a layered and depth effect, although this editing technique of layering is simple i think it works well for my images and allows me to edit them uniquely without completely distorting them or overcomplicating them. Not overcomplicating my image is very important to me as my final piece plan centres alot around physical relief therefore my editing must not distract the eye.

I think this image also turned out really well as the colours present in my original Dorf inspired image and my Hanninen floral image combine together and compliment each other to create a refined overall image. I also think this image works well as its darker than previous combined edits and so when displayed next to my other edits will display a wider range of colour and tone.
like with my urban Hanninen images and my inital edits i wanted to create more paint trials using my final edits to ensure my Hanninen inspired idea would work and also to ensure that my chosen colour pallete would also work.
I conducted paint trials on 3 o stead of just one because i wan lete of paint would coordinate different colours, for example containing light pinks, a darke based image.

onstucted my maquette by simple tning my painted asatate on top my original edited photograph then placing an appropriatsized twig over the top to add sical elements to my image. m very happy with this maquette it was simple to construct and i o think will mean my exam final ce will work well as a compliting piece for my main instilion that i will be constructing a later date for the ibition. rall i am happy and now feel dy to construct my exam final ce using the three images i seted and the same process of struction i used for this sucful maquette.
